Our family had such a wonderful stay at Blue Yonder Lodge. The house itself is beautiful - the standout feature has to be the large shaded deck out the front of the house, with a stunning view of the lake and a constant breeze. It’s also the perfect spot to watch the kangaroos who hop down the street at dusk every evening. The lodge has everything you might need, and more - from bikes and kayaks, air hockey and table tennis, an abundance of beach towels and games galore. It’s the perfect secluded spot on a quiet street, but only a few minutes’ walk to the lake where you can fish or kayak. There are so many stunning beaches within a half hour radius - Catherine Hill was a favourite, and the Grannies Pool at Blacksmiths Beach if you have kids. Host Kristiina was always responsive and warm, and thoughtfully provided things like a high chair for our toddler. We loved Blue Yonder Lodge and will definitely be back again.
