“Beautiful serene property right off the ocean and a river. The ocean is not a beach for swimming but the resort has a pool. Peaceful lush environment. An amazing staff all around. Sernita was very friendly and always went out of her way to satisfy our needs. Ellen was very knowledgeable about the island’s plants and allowed us to harvest to make our own unique teas. “Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)”

A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . “Anchorage Hotel is a great place to stay, close to Roseau. We ate breakfast next door at Ocean Edge restaurant, and we bought a few groceries at Green's Supermarket up the road as you go toward Wallhouse community. Our room had an electric tea kettle and coffee supplies and a small frig. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. We also appreciated having parking just off the street for our rental car.”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. “The facilities were ok but the room that we stayed in had no ceiling covering the zinc roof which made sleeping during the nightly torrential rains extremely loud. The areas was relaxing and natural. ”

“The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner!
