Quiet 2BR Directly Across From Morristown-Hamblen Hospital
Whether you’re here for a long shift, a loved one’s recovery, or a travel assignment, The Nightingale is a quiet retreat directly across the street from Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Park once, walk to work, and settle into a comfortable two-bedroom home designed for people who need real rest — and real focus.
Just look for the green house — an easy-to-spot landmark right across from the hospital, so you won’t be circling the block hunting for parking after a 12-hour shift.
THE SPACE
With two private bedrooms and a full bath, you’ll have space to spread out whether you’re traveling solo, sharing with a fellow resident or nurse, or staying nearby while a family member is in care. Each bedroom includes blackout curtains for true daytime sleep — essential after a night shift.
Need to study for boards or chart after hours? You’ll have three dedicated workspaces: a desk in each bedroom plus a third quiet desk in the laundry room, so two people can work without crowding. Blazing-fast fiber-optic Wi‑Fi keeps video calls, telehealth, and study sessions running smoothly.
A full kitchen lets you keep your own hours and make your own meals — no waiting on takeout after a night shift — and a relaxed living area gives you room to decompress.
PERFECT FOR
Travel nurses, residents, and medical students on assignment Nursing and EMS students in the area for clinicals or training Flight crews, EMS, and hospital staff needing a quiet base near work Family and visitors staying close to a loved one at the hospital

REST EASY
We understand our guests often keep odd hours and carry heavy days. The Nightingale is intended to be a calm, dependable place to land, sleep, study, and recharge — so you’re ready for whatever your next shift brings. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Only the guests on the reservation may stay overnight.
No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the house.
No parties or events.
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
The whole house is yours, so the only people you`ll hear are your own. We are inside Morristown city limits, though, so please keep noise down out of consideration for the neighbors and the city noise ordinance.
Pets are welcome. There is no fenced yard and the house sits along a road, so pets must be leashed any time they`re outside, and please don`t leave them alone in the house.
Please keep pets off the leather and pleather furniture — the sofa, the chairs, and the dining chairs mark and tear easily.
Thermostat / energy - While you’re here, keep the thermostat in the allowed range: cool no lower than 68°F, heat no higher than 76°F. - Comfort targets we aim for (and precondition to before check-in): about 73°F in summer and 71°F in winter. - Please change the thermostat by no more than 2°F at a time, then wait until it reaches that setting before changing again. Larger jumps can force emergency heat and spike the electric bill.
All trash must be bagged before it goes in the bin — blue bin is recycling, grey bin is trash. Loose trash has to be dug out by hand.
If you use the grill, shut off the burners and close the valve on the propane tank when you`re finished, and give the grates a clean.
Please don`t have mail or packages delivered to the property before, during, or after your stay.
Two exterior cameras are mounted on the house and face outward. They cover the front and rear doors, the approaches to them, and the parking area. Video only — audio is turned off. There are no cameras inside the home. Please don`t tamper with, unplug, cover, or relocate the cameras, the smart lock, or the router and WiFi equipment.
