“This is a great spot with a cool design aesthetic. It was just enough space for me, my husband and dog. So many places I’ve stayed have an abundance of “stuff” and things can be hard to find. The love shack had just enough of everything and it felt like an actual home. Place was super clean and the location is great. Communication was easy and straightforward”

“I took the family of 6 to the lake. It was chilly outside but this property was perfect. Plenty of space for us all, each couple had a bathroom. The living room open concept with kitchen was perfect for us being able to enjoy the tv, games, food and beverages together. ”

“Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings.”

“This was my first time staying with VRBO. It was a million dollar view. There were just a few minor things that were mentioned before on other reviews that were not taken care of such as the hole in the master bedroom door, the smell of sewage in the kitchen the garbage disposal area, and also the stairs down to the dock area didn't seem too stable. “It is wonderful. Quiet, private, we did not see anyone during our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a couples escape. The back deck and hot tub was perfect for after a hike on the C&O canal. There was a full kitchen and outdoor grill but we found lots of local restaurants in Cumberland instead.
