“The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent
However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows.
Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.

“The experience at and around the hotel was excellent including the spa, the beach and the walking on the coastal path. The food was excellent in all restaurants. They provided for gluten free needs in a special way with a platter for breakfast, fantastic gluten free sour dough bread and many options. ”
“Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

“Perfekt boende ett stenkast från strand, lokala restaurangerna och med fin liten egen trädgård och uppvärmd pool. Trevlig bar med utsikt. Lätt möjligt trivas flera dagars vistelse.”

A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful.
I did have to drive to places Harlyn beach has calmer sea and was beautiful, few minutes drive away and treyarnon rock pool beach also a few...
“We stayed here for x2 nights before heading down to St Ives to break up our long drive from Manchester. We had a great time and would definitely do this again. Watergate Bay beach is literally a 4 minute walk from this apartment which is amazing! Parking is included too so you don’t have to worry about your car being restricted in car parks. There are lots of nice places to get coffee, breakfast and dinner too but the apartment is cute enough if you decide to make dinner here as it can be...
