Bank Street Bungalow

  • Newly renovated 1940's Bungalow located in the heart of Mayberry. We are within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We are literally around the corner from Wally's Service Station where they offer rides in the squad cars. Pilot Mtn park is a 15 minute drive south on hwy 52. It has some amazing views and hiking paths. Speaking of walking paths, Mount Airy has some beautiful paths downtown, along the river.
    We are in close proximity to several Yadkin Valley wineries. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 15 minute ride north of us. It's a beautiful sight anytime of the year but Fall is amazing.
    This non smoking home has 3 bedrooms (queen bed, full bed and bunk beds - 200lb limit on bunks) 2 baths (one tub / one shower) and is full of charm.
    We have two porches and a deck to sit and relax on (smoking permitted there only, not inside the home) and enjoy the NC weather.
    Our home has WiFi, cable TV, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Extra linens are available and the beds are freshly made.

    We have parking to accommodate 4 cars.

    We take cleaning serious! We do our best to provide you with a clean, comfortable environment.

    Pets with good manners are welcome. We only ask you to please close the doors to the bedrooms you are not using. Please also know that there are gaps in the fence where a small dog can slip through. Don't forget to bring your pet's favorite bedding with you so they are comfortable.

    Children should be over 5 years old. Please be aware that we have cleaning supplies within reach of small hands.

Bank Street Bungalow exceeded our expectations! Everything was so clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Proximity to Main Street restaurants and shopping was awesome. We walked to town attractions several times. We look forward to staying here again!

This place is perfection. My son got married in pilot mountain area and we stayed here. Beautiful outdoor space with large area for gathering inside. Ideally located for going to the venue but being close to town for food and shopping. 100% recommend and will be back!

The picture of the Bank Street Bungalow does not do it justice. This is a very well taken care of property, and we felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were special little touches throughout the house that we did not expect. We especially enjoyed the outside seating under the carport. I would highly recommend this property!

This is the cutest house ever. It’s absolutely beautiful and charming. We stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time visiting downtown, the museums and just hanging out. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you need to feel at home. It’s also a great location. Walking to town is no problem. Its closeness to the greenway was perfect for our pup. Liz is also an amazing host. We lost power one night and she came right over with lanterns.
