  • Enjoy relaxing on the porch with sunset views while in the heart of Downtown Mount Dora. This fabulous property is located within steps of the historic downtown featuring great shopping and dining experiences. Known for its antique shop (located outside the downtown district), annual festivals, award winning dining and live music, you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself. Mount Dora hosts many different daily activities for you and the family from festivals, markets, segway tours, boat tours (day or night) on the chain of lakes, catboat rentals, walking paths, bike trails and boating rentals, all within minutes to you. We have ghost tours as well as a wonderful taste of the town tour which can be private to your own group or alongside new people. Perfect for a fun girls trip, milestone birthday getaways, wedding parties and more. Our 1185 sq ft apartment has recent updates in 2024 to give all guests the home away from home feel with cozy feel.

    The Water View retreat property ready to charm its guests. The fun colors as you walk in the door immediately bring a smile to your face and the lakefront views bring relaxation to the mind. The space is welcomed by a fully equipped kitchen, brand new stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, dining room space, coffee bar, living space furnished with couches and chairs to enjoy Lake Dora views from inside or from the balcony. Also outfitted with a 65 inch smart TV, internet provided giving you the availability to log in to any of your streaming devices (no cable). Our Water View retreat has two bedrooms. The primary bedroom is located off the living room with one king bed, walk-in closet and linen closet has its own porch view and space to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets of Lake Dora, FL. There are two separate bathrooms, adjoining the two bathrooms is a bathtub/shower set privately between the primary bath and second bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, sitting chair and closet.

    Our property is set for you to come and park your car. Be ready to enjoy the outdoors, fabulous dining experiences and wonderful shopping. We can't wait to have you!

Great location and view. We were able to walk around town and leave the car behind. The place was clean and welcoming. The only things missing were kitchen knives and a regular coffee machine.

The property was spotlessly clean! And the location couldn’t have been better. Easy walk to restaurants, bars and shopping, yet still quiet and felt private.We had a great stay and will definitely return!

View had nothing to do with it. We were there for a car show. The property fit our needs well.However, I was extremely disappointed that we were hit with an insurance policy after the deal was done. Had I known this was not included in the price, we probably would have stayed elsewhere.

This lakefront apartment was a great weekend getaway spot for me and my family. We checked in Friday night, and the place was clean and well appointed. We got up Saturday to explore Mount Dora, and after enjoying our lakefront view as we got ready, we were in the middle of downtown within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see, including a charming British pub a few hundred feet away and a farmers market on Sunday. We would love to come back!

Most Convenient Location to Mount Dora

We have stayed multiple times in Mount Dora but this Cozy two bedroom villa is only a few short steps from all the restaurants & shops in Mount Dora that you will find! It also has a view of the beautiful lake! Lovely villa and very clean! EXCELLENT location!!

Perfect spot for a getaway in Mt Dora

The unit is clean, super well decorated, and feels like home. Location is absolutely perfect, with views of the lake from living room, bedroom, and the covered porch. Tons of restaurants only a few feet away. 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for all things Mount Dora

Had an absolutely amazing time at this adorable beautifully decorated two bedroom condo. I cannot stress enough how perfect this location was we parked the car on the property and left it there for the entire weekend and got to walk everywhere. There is a beautiful view out the back door and you can walk down to the dock and watch the sunset. Great accommodations! Comfortable beds! Highly recommend this place!

Weekend away

We had a perfect weekend getaway in Mt Dora. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We were able to walk from the apartment to everywhere in downtown. We shopped, had lunch, delicious dinners… all within steps from the apartment. The view of the lake from the living room was great too! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Mt Dora for more antiquing.

AWESOME location. Walked everywhere. Very spacious and well-supplied. Super easy booking and check in. Scott was easy to work with. Better chairs (not broken) and a small table for the patio would be great.Also - we are old school and don't stream TV shows. We missed regular tv stations.

In the heart of Mount Dora

We were in town for a funeral, but 3 of the 4 days we were able to hang out. The retreat was quiet so sleeping was no problem. We were steps from everything so a vehicle was not required. The balcony overlooks the lake where the sun sets and it is a gorgeous sunset.

Great stay

There were 4 adults in our party for a quick weekend getaway to Mount Dora. This property was in a great location just a few minutes from downtown. We were a 5 minute walk to the pickleball courts at the City center, and 2 minutes from both of the restaurants where we had reservations for dinner. 1921 and the Goblin Market.The beds were comfortable, living room was nicely furnished, and the place was clean. The bathroom was jack and Jill style with a shared tub shower but each bedroom had its own sink and toilet. We were able to hear the people upstairs from us a little bit but was not bothersome. We would definitely stay here again as the location was ideal.

Great location needs attention.

This apartment is located in a perfect walking location to all of downtown. We never drove our car. While the location is perfect, this property is not ready for the price point. Upon arrival the a/c was not cooling properly. The managers of the listing were responsive and did bring a bag of ice that was asked for since there were no ice trays or ice maker. The managers brought a temporary indoor a/c unit until the ac repair person could come the next morning. I live in FL too and could have stayed home to deal with repairs. This is one of the reasons people go on vacation. To their credit it was repaired the following morning. When we asked for any reduction of charges or other considerations due to the inconvenience we were told no due to the fact that it was repaired. Will definitely come back to Mount Dora just not at this location.

My roller derby team and I stayed at this house for a tournament weekend in Victoria. It is spacious, gorgeous, and has a wonderful kitchen/dining/living room area to enjoy our time together. The house had everything we needed (an ironing board, excellent washer and dryer, and a huge fridge/freezer). Every room offers incredible views of the mountains and surrounding hills. Cannot recommend this home highly enough!
