Casa histórica completamente renovada y actualizada de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños de 1887 ubicada en el hermoso centro de Mount Dora. Cocina totalmente equipada, comedor para seis y cuarto de lavado. Mucho espacio de estacionamiento incluso para un bote. Hands down the best VRBO experience! The house is perfectly set up with EVERYTHING you need. James (the host) was so helpful and accommodating. Cannot recommend this house enough to anyone visiting the Mt Dora area.

This is a great house! It has been completely renovated so while keeping the aesthetic appeal of its 1887 age, it feels like you are in a modern house with very comfortable amenities. The host greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. Beds are comfy and the location is ideal. You could walk to downtown Mt Dora from this location. Front bedroom is a little noisy, so bring ear plugs and you’ll sleep fine. We enjoyed our stay at 1887 Royellou House!

I loved the historic home and its location that enabled us to walk into town and to the park. Fun place to visit over the holidays because of the lights and shopping. The upstairs AC unit was not working but the host was prompt to get it working again. The beds were very comfortable. We love to cook and my only issue with the house was that pots and pans are very old and scratched up and cannot be be used safely. I did tell the owner about this.

There was a boil water order due to a storm but James provided us with bottled water and came over to update us. He was very communicative. The house was clean and as described. We were very comfy.

We loved staying at this house! It's a 5 minute walk into downtown, just far enough away to be quiet at night but not needing a car to get into all the activities. This time it was only my wife and me, but there is room for more as the downstairs has 2 bedrooms and another bathroom. We stayed upstairs in the master suite which has a nice balcony with a table and chairs to relax and oversee the front yard. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and amenities. James lives next door and was very attentive when we messaged him with questions. Also chatted with us for a bit and gave us recommendations for dinner and things to do. Great rental for the asking price, we would stay here again.

This property has a great deal of character and history. It is exceptionally well prepared by the owner, spotlessly clean and every amenity you can think of is available for use. The location couldn't be better, being just a short walk into the town of Mount Dora. The house also has dedicated/private parking making staying there even easier! The owner's communication, prior to the stay, upon arrival and during the stay was outstanding and just right. We would definitley stay here again. A great place.

Wonderful experience. The house was clean and inviting. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee and in the evening drinking wine. It is a short walk to downtown that we could walk to go shopping or have a meal. Highly recommend this place.

Comfortable sleeping for six people. Well stocked kitchen. Just stop at the grocery store on your way to the house. large dining room table or multiple restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. The 10 minute walk also includes arriving downtown forshopping in the fine stores of Mount Dora. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful home, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and walkable to town. Front porch is large and comfortable. It is on a busy road but we still enjoyed sitting out front each morning/evening. Owner very responsive. Would love to return!

Myself, my 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters absolutely loved the house! Walking distance to Mount Dora shops. We didn’t use our cars during our 2 night /3 day stay. We loved the history of the house. We would book again!

Extraordinary home

Six of us had a wonderful stay at this home. The first thing that you notice is that everything has been modernized and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking tools, a selection of coffee and teas, and a good ice maker. All the rooms are spacious, and everything is spotless. It IS on a pretty main street so there are the inevitable loud music playing vehicles driving by at times. It was nice to all sit on the front porch and chat in the mornings and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Stay was amazing!

Our host James and his wife went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable . The house was immaculate and enough room for me and my family, it was 6 of us and we all were very well taken care of . The host was available at all times . I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future, the location is perfect , you can walk downtown and enjoy the local shops and restaurants.
