La cabaña que te hace ir, "¡GUAU!" ¡Disfruta de una vida de lujo en el corazón del distrito histórico de Mount Dora! Our stay at WOW Cottage started out wonderful before we even arrived in Mount Dora!! Liz and Lee shared so many useful tips for adding extra fun to our weekend there. We were able to add so many worthwhile things to our itinerary. The Cottage itself was beyond our expectations! It was like a hands on museum of so many artifacts and the like. Many brought back memories of yesteryear. To say too much more would ruin the surprise that awaits you, the next renter.

I could not have had a better experience with my stay. I would highly recommend The WOW cottage. Super cute, clean, great location. If forgot to pack something, I’m sure you can find a spare there. The personal touches exceed anything I’ve experienced anywhere else. Can’t wait to return.

This was our second time at “The WOW Cottage” My husband and I just love the little quaint town of Mount Dora. Liz is just a wonderful host. She has made this little Cottage so warm and cozy…all the comforts of home and more. I bought some fabulous tea at one of the little shops in town and really wanted to try it. It was loose tea so I needed a tea strainer…wouldn’t you know there was one for me to use. We absolutely love this home and the host. Thank you again for another wonderful experience!

WOW doesn’t say enough!!!

From the our first communication with our new dear friend Liz to the moment we opened the door to the WOW cottage, Patty & I were absolutely MESMERIZED! The manner in which the cottage’s timeliness & quaint time period was maintained to a tee during their renovvations. Liz & her hubby scoured antique & collectible shops & online for furnishings & just the right pieces to go into the WOW Cottage to all come together to make it the “adult escape into creativity & imagination” it is!Where can you possibly go & stay in such a totally different, whimsical place in a lovely town & come home with two awesome friends?

Surprise birthday weekend!

We had an excellent stay at the Wow Cottage. Very eclectic art designs and trinkets. Hard to explain. It's a must-see. We surprised my wife with a birthday weekend in Mount Dora. Several times we walked into town to visit the various restaurants and destinations. Highly recommend others to stay at the wow cottage! Liz is great at managing the property and makes your visit feel special.

Definitely WOW!

House was so quaint and cozy, and definitely a WOW experience from the decor to the rooms. Liz the host was GREAT! She was interactive with me and surprised us with goodies for my best friend's birthday. It was only 5 blocks from downtown therefore we never even used our car and enjoyed the downtown experience just as much. Very nice town and would definitely go back again and recommend this house to adults who want a quiet and cozy getaway. THANK YOU Liz!

Great little house

Loved this place. Very quirky with lots of interesting curios. It was well equipped with every convenience and gadget you could think of. 10 minute walk into town. Lovely back yard dining area and porch at the front. Great WiFi. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any messages.

The best "WOW" stay ever!

We stay at the "WOW" cottage every year in October for the arts and craft festival in downtown Mt. Dora. The house is amazingly decorated with beautiful art of all mediums. The cottage is fully stocked with everything you could need from kitchen items to all household needs. It is clean, comfortable, and inviting. We love sitting on the front porch and having a BBQ in the back yard. The location is perfect for walking into quaint downtown. The local restaurants have a variety of offers and great shopping. We look forward to this stay every year. Thank you Liz and Lee for your warm hospitality.

Fantastic!

Property and furnishings were amazing. Exceeded my expectations - probably the best VRBO experience we have had. Location is walking distance from the Town. The host went above and beyond. Cant say enough good things about this WOW cottage! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

The BEST!

This place is so much more than a cottage! Once inside you feel like you've stepped into a true vacation home, stocked with anything you could possibly need. Quirky and fun! The Master bedroom and sitting room made you feel like Royalty. The hosts have a spirit of excellence and couldn't be more attentive. I'm so grateful we chose the WOW Cottage to celebrate our 45th Anniversary week! If we ever return to Mt Dora we will definitely be returning to this treasure!

The cottage lives up to it's name

Stayed for two nights and really loved the property. Very clear communication made check-in a breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped and the assortment of musical instruments brought out our creative side. Location doesn't get better. We'll definitely be back again!

Quick Getaway

The WOW cottage was exceptional!! We were in town for the Beach Volleyball national championships in Tavares. The cottage could not have been any better. It was fantastic!! Highly recommend it to anyone!!
