The house was absolutely beautiful, perfectly located and had everything we needed for two families with two children. The kitchen and dining area were super fun to cook and hang in, and the living room space allowed for us all to enjoy time together really comfortably. One big note: the bedrooms were very cold and wouldn’t properly warm despite increasing the heat. This was challenging for us with little kids. One smaller note: while there was toilet paper a plenty, there was only one roll of paper towels which did not suffice for a long weekend.

Great place near Bryce Resort

Very nice, large home, and well equipped for our stay. Great neighborhood to walk our dog down to the resort. The only minor suggestions we have are to update a few things that are showing their age, such as the grill and deck furniture. Owners were very responsive whenever we had questions.

Spacious and close proximity to the ski resort

This property is ideally located to the Bryce resort. We found the home to have plenty of space for a big family. The deck was great for entertaining - so spacious and nice lookout to trees and distant mountains. The kitchen was well accommodated for cooking and storage. We enjoyed our stay very much and communication with the property owner was quick, even over a holiday, with any request.

We had 10 guests. We came into town to explore and do the burgess ebike tour. This house accommodated us with comfortable beds and a great kitchen and patio to enjoy! We would stay here again!

Great house!

We had a great long weekend here. Our group was three families with young kids and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking large meals, and the deck is wonderful throughout the day. Leah communicated with us easily. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location, lovely home!

Everything about this property was as advertised. We were looking for a quick getaway to test out our upgraded ski and snowboard gear on a school holiday before heading out west. The house was beautiful and all the added amenities made our stay extra comfortable. The owners were quick to respond and made sure we had what we needed. We were 5 minutes from Bryce Resort, which was quaint and quiet. Our kids are used to skiing big mountains in Utah, but still thoroughly enjoyed the runs at Bryce and stayed until almost lift closing time. We will definitely be back to this property if the timing works out!

Christmas with Family

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Shenandoah Getaway Retreat! Prior to our stay Leah & Blake promptly responded to our many emails. The check in process was simple and the house was well cleaned and extremely spacious and comfortable for our entire family of 12. The kitchen facility was large and well equipped for all our cooking needs. There was plenty of eating space in the dining area and room for relaxing in the upper living room and downstairs lounge area. The bathroom facilities were clean and newly remodeled. The upper porch deck was perfect for late evening gatherings with the family including a fire pit to stay warm. There was limited hiking areas, as the road was rather busy with car traffic; however, Bryce Ski Resort was close enough to get some hiking adventures in. Overall, Shenandoah Getaway Retreat was definitely a 5 star for our family vacation this year. Thank you Leah & Blake!

A Place for the Whole Family

This home was an excellent place to spend time with family even the furry members! We were looking for somewhere in the mountains not to far from home and this house was perfect because they allowed an impormember of our family- our Labradoodle.

Gorgeous Mountain Stay

If you're searching for a little pocket of mountain-filled paradise in Mount Jackson, this is your place. The cabin was spotless - even the corners of the bathroom floors, which you know are usually cringeworthy when you stay at hotels. I cooked many meals in the chef's kitchen and drank coffee and wine by the brand-new fire pit on the wraparound deck. The main area's couch was like butter. The bay window was my daughter's favorite spot, and we all had plenty of space to spread out in the house at any given time. The decor is on point too. Better yet, if you develop any pressing issues/questions, the owners are friendly and easy to reach. Nearby are orchards, Fairview Dog Park, and WO Riley Park for the kids to run around. We found a great temporary escape here. The week flew by!
