Hotel muy recomendable

Hotel un poco alejado de la ciudad pero muy bien comunicado con tren y bus Habitación muy limpia,espaciosa y con una terraza que da al jardín muy acogedora Desayuno muy bueno y abundante,te lo sirven en la habitación a la hora que quieras Para acceder a la playa se ha de cruzar la vía del tren pero no es nada peligroso y además tiene un bar con hamacas

Helt ok

Prisvärt hotell med fin trädgård och stora rum. Poolen är väldigt fin dock är personalen lite dåliga på engelska.

Cancelled booking after 1st night

Hotel Rivi Ras looks much nicer in photos. No sea views. No Wifi in rooms. Very dated room/bathroom facilities.

It was a budget hotel so you got what you paid for

The staff were wonderful ,the hotel was ok not for high end earners ,the breakfast really good but odd way of delivering it ,I wanted to eat in the resturant overlooking the Indian Ocean but I was told to have it in my room sometimes . To get from your hotel room to the resturant you had to cross over the railway lines , the noise from the trains were quiet loud but I would say overhaul it was a great place to stay that if if your looking for a low cost hotel at is close to everything, great staff and an amazing beach

Lovely stay at Rivi Ras Hotel

The Rivi Ras hotel suited for me and my girlfriend really well. Of course theres sometimes noice from the trains but it didn't bother us at all (very few trains at night time). The breakfast was nice and it was served at our terrace. The nearest shop is about 10min walk away. The staff was very nice and helpful.

unhappy to say the least

terrible stay. place seemed completely empty yet they gave me the furthest room possible which was right beside the train tracks. extremely noisy and bed made me itchy all night between the two I had almost no sleep even though I arrived at 2am from airport. in the morning I had no hot water in shower and the breakfast wasn't very good. I paid for 2 nights in advance from online and left after first night.

ホテルのスタッフがフレンドリーで皆さん素敵な方たちでした。クーラーもしっかり効いてるし、朝食は部屋に運んでくれました。前日に翌日の朝食の内容について聞いてくれてリクエストに応えてくれるし、時間もリクエストできるしボリュームもあって満足できるものでした。線路が近いため電車の通る音が聞こえるので、音に敏感な方にはお薦めできませんが、それを除けば敷地内には木が沢山植えてあり、まったり過ごしたい方には良いと思いますよ。レストランも近くにあるし、ホテル直営のシーフードレストランもあります。歩いて5-6分のところには、高級ホテルのマウント・ラビニアホテルもありますので、そちらでお茶をしたりランチビュッフェやディナービュッフェを食べることも出来ます。 LAN Cableを繋ぐところがなく、コンセントも一つしかなかったので、スマホ充電やパソコンをLAN Cableで繋ぎたい方には不便なこともあります。それとコロンボ市外になるのでトゥクトゥクでコロンボに行くには多少の出費は否めませんが、マウントラビニア駅も7-8分で行けますので、ネットで時間を調べれば安くコロンボ市内に行けます。

Mount Lavinia駅から徒歩１２分の広い庭のあるホテルです。 コテージが５棟あり、部屋は上下に４部屋あります。 おしゃれな雰囲気のホテルです。建物は古いが満足のいくホテルでした。 Wifiが受付のロビーでしか使用できないのは残念でしたが。

Great rooms near beach

Great hotel and lovely service. Beautiful old bridge lead from the hotel quarters across the train tracks to the beach. Beach was mostly inhabited by locals, and was fine for a dip and a lunch/drink/dinner. We asked to check in early (arrived at 6 AM), and this request was accepted at no extra charge. Very good service and very friendly staff :)

comfortable but a little bit noisy

The room is clean, but shower booth has no door which means shower spreads everywhere in the bath room. Please be careful the ants when you leave foods on the table. The garden is beautiful,and the beach is very close to the hotel but need to use stairs to the beach to across the railway. There is the railway very close to the hotel, so pretty noisy when the train came. And hear the music from Mount Lavinia hotel even mignight.

Hotel für Zugliebhaber.

Wir wollten Stadt mit Beach kombinieren und haben uns desahlb für dieses Hotel entschieden. Nur schade dass der Strand vom Hotel duch eine Bahntrasse getrennt ist, die auch rege von den Züge benutzt wurde. Zum Glück gab es ein Nachtfahrverbot...

Hopeless

Hope less. Expensive. Not worth for the money paid. Booking says Buffet Breakfast but only served in the Room. In addition, extra guest fee for kid was charged but no breakfast or extra bed was provided for the kid. Over and above, WIFI was not working in the room and had to go to reception every time. The sad part was that there was no intercom in the room and hence cannot contact the hotel staff for anything that you need.

It is ok, good price - don't have high expectation

Generally they were very kind and helped out. What we didn't expected, were the railways next to the beach. Along the beach (in that area) aren't hotels that have a direct access to the beach but are disconnected by a rail way. However, our hotel had a smart, nice solution by creating a own private way to the railways with a small private bridge. The place itself is rather for people that don't pay attention on high standards but a low price and rather want to visit Sri lanka than staying in the hotel. They were very kind to let us stay a bit over the checking out time and helped generally out when we asked for. However, here in Sri Lanka water seemed to be surprisingly expensive and it is recommended to buy it in a supermarket to avoid buying their hotel water that is not included in the hotel and extra charged. The place was nice, the rooms clean and comfortable (pay rather extra and get an AC). The bathroom wasn't comfortable and a bit stinky (I advise the management to put some air refreshening stuff into the bathroom and to use some towel softener). We booked a buffet, however, we outside of the season time and they prepared our breakfast for us and brang it to our room. Eggs, sausages, ham, fruits, toast, marmalade, butter, tasty fresh juices, coffee or tea. It was ok, rather standard. The country itself is cheap and poor, so the hotel appears for local people of higher standards, and in certain ways it is nice, but the noise fromvthe train was loud.

Delizioso, immerso nella natura

Hotel con camere indipendenti in splendide villette a due piani immerse in un bellissimo parco-giardino adiacente alla spiaggia. Ogni camera con il suo spazio esterno dotato di tavolini e sedie. Consigliamo solo di aggiungere nelle camere il frigo bar indispensabile per le calde temperature del luogo!! Per il resto nulla da dire. Pulito, staff cordiale e disponibile, colazione deliziosa ed abbondante che, se richiesto, portano in camera . Lo consigliamo vivamente

I highly recommend this Motel

It is one of the most pleasant places I have stayed at. That staff are excellent very helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent choice away from the hustle of Colombo

Only 6kms South of Colombo, this little hotel I thought was excellent, considering the high prices of City hotels. A ten minute Tuktuk ride into the city. On a pleasant beach, nice restaurant with good choice of food and drinks. Breakfast is served to the room which has a veranda. Eggs, sausage, large fruit platter toast and tea or coffee, all in the price. The staff are all excellent and very helpful. I only stayed two nights, but enjoyed them very much. Will most certainly stay again if I get back to this wonderful country.
