We met Mike on our way out in the afternoon and he was really friendly and gave some good advice as to where to eat some local cheese. The bed was really comfortable with a good range of tea and some good coffee. The biscuits were a nice addition as well. We loved our stay here and were fortunate enough to see some Platypus which was a real highlight.”

The cleanliness of the room was great. All condiments were in the room when we arrived and topped up when the room was serviced. The gas fireplace and the spa bath were also wonderful features. “Basically the room was satisfactory, being clean and the bed comfortable. I liked the breakfast cereal there for us and ample milk. I loved the fact that there was a small basin and detergent to wash up in. I hate having to wash up cups etc in the bathroom sink for obvious reasons. It was also surprisingly quiet considering we were next to the tavern and on a busy road. Things I thought could do with attention. “Stay here quite regularly, the staff know us when we have appointments at the nearby hospital. Staff are wonderful and caring. The bathroom we had did leak and needed extra towels to mop up the water leaking onto the carpet. The other downside is the wifi connection to the TV, we always seem to have trouble to connect no matter using Accor or hot spot.”
