We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. “I read the other reviews before booking and I thought that I would be able to handle it. I've traveled all over and stayed in some really disgusting hostels so I thought the room wouldn't be so bad in comparison. I don't mind the stains on the chairs or the holes in the comforters, as long as the sheets are clean (which they were), but the smell of the room was terrible. Someone had obviously smoked a lot in there. The shower curtain had mold all over it; those are not expensive to replace...

“My stay at this location was the worst I have ever experienced. While the manager was exception she was only one person which is also an issue for what we experienced. My room was $268 and the excessive noise after hours, kicking on my door throwing buckets of ice by teenage boys well past 11pm that were not supervised by their parents was completely unacceptable .There was also an 84 year old man staying on the same floor with his terminally ill wife and we both came out of rooms to see...
