GRANDVIEWHAUS Monte Victoria

GRANDVIEWHAUS se encuentra en Mt Victoria, una pintoresca ciudad de National Trust en el impresionante patrimonio mundial que forman parte de las Montañas Azules. A solo 120 km de Sydney y 1044 m sobre el nivel del mar.

Es el municipio más occidental de las Montañas Azules y tiene una historia que se remonta a 1817.

GRANDVIEWHAUS está ubicado en el borde de la escarpa que domina el valle de Kanimbla hacia el suroeste.

Hay muchas oportunidades de turismo cerca. Los famosos jardines botánicos de Mt Tomah, el pueblo y los jardines de temporada en Mt Wilson y la ciudad de Blackheath. Es un viaje fácil de un día a las cuevas de Jenolan, y un corto paseo hasta el pueblo local para comida, bebidas y películas.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA CASA

Esta espaciosa casa abierta planeada tiene tres niveles, todos con impresionantes vistas de los valles Kanimbla y Hartley.

El nivel de vida principal tiene una sala de estar, biblioteca (completo con un montón de lectura de vacaciones, juegos y rompecabezas), cocina, comedor de 10 plazas, zona de desayuno, hundido conversación pozo con chimenea y un cuarto de polvo.

Hay un moderno televisor LED, DVD, consola de alta fidelidad con base para iPod y una selección de DVD y CD. Puede conectarse a Wi Fi en cualquier lugar de la casa.

Adyacente a esta área hay un escritorio de trabajo adicional con silla de oficina para aquellos que desean actividades creativas.

Para los muy jóvenes hay una cuna de viaje, silla alta y una barrera de escalera para los niños pequeños.

La cocina, bien equipada y totalmente equipada, contiene una encimera de gas, horno eléctrico, microondas empotrado, máquina de café espresso, lavavajillas, nevera de dos puertas y congelador.

Está bien situado para hacer una cocina seria y comidas casuales.

En el nivel inferior, junto a una sala de estar común adicional (con sofá cama) con chimenea a gas, hay tres habitaciones, todas con impresionantes vistas. También hay un baño moderno (con bañera), una lavandería y un área de trabajo con cafetera y tetera.

1 dormitorio con una cama de matrimonio y cuarto de aseo privado.
Un baño separado en una alcoba de la habitación también tiene vistas sobre el valle. Soak relajarse y disfrutar de la magia.

El dormitorio 2 tiene una cama tamaño queen que también se puede dividir en dos camas individuales a pedido.

3 dormitorios tiene una cama queen size y una cama individual separada.

El dormitorio 4 está en el desván y tiene cuatro literas individuales. Perfecto para niños y adultos ágiles.

Hay un sofá cama en la zona comunitaria inferior.

AL AIRE LIBRE

Hay cuatro terrazas / verandas. Se puede cenar al aire libre en dos de las cubiertas y también en una gran área de entretenimiento cubierta con barbacoa de gas y todo el equipo.

Tenga en cuenta que la casa y la propiedad están ubicadas en el borde del desierto del Parque Nacional Blue Mountains y están muy cerca de altos acantilados, pistas de arbustos, etc. Hay una presa y un estanque, peligros potenciales que deben respetarse. Los niños deberán ser supervisados en todo momento.

Breathtaking views from a gorgeous house

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is unique with its wood panelling and comfy nooks throughout, but its real selling points were the breathtaking views from every window. We appreciated the little touches too like the chocolate biscuits in the fridge and bottle od wine ledt for us. Would highly recommend.

Cosy home in spectacular location

The view is obviously what most people come for but the house itself is very impressive. So well appointed - everything has been thought of. Wifi is not the greatest (my zoom meeting kept dropping out) but why are you working?! Really warm and cosy. Instructions are comprehensive and hosts are very kind and helpful. We loved our stay.

Comfortable stay with amazing views

We loved our stay in this unique property. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay - well stocked kitchen, multiple living spaces (we used every single one), fireplaces and amazing views to sit and relax and chat with friends. Highly recommended

Amazing views

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The views are unrivalled and the house was well equipped and the owners were quick to answer any questions we had. We were a group of 7 and fit comfortably, across the many spaces with the loft space best suited for children 6-12 age.

Fabulous house with amazing views

This was a wonderful spot to spend a few relaxing days, with astonishing views. Lovely to be able to cook looking out over the valley, and to sit on the balcony watching the sunset. The house is very comfortable, and has everything you could need. Lots of nooks and crannies, each with its own view. A really memorable stay.

Fabulous stay at Grandviewhaus

We had such a lovely stay. Amazing views and was great to sit on the balcony or hang out around the fire after a long hike. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Will definitely be back.

Amazing views

Almost every room in GrandviewHaus has a fabulous view, even when the fog rolled in it was fascinating to just sit and watch. All the beds were very comfortable, and there were three different lounging areas to spread out. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Our grandchildren loved the bush walks nearby, and even though the house appears to be right on the edge of the cliff, it is quite safe for the kids to play outside. The kids loved sleeping up in the bunks in the loft - it was a great adventure for them!

The overall impression is of an unusual house on the edge of the Kanimbla Valley with views from nearly every room. Children love the house with it’ s secret rooms. Very well equipped.

Perfect getaway

We came here with a group of 11 adults for Christmas in July, The house fit us all very comfortably, with the various areas for sitting, chatting and looking at the view. We cooked a full roast meal with turkey and pork, the oven and utensils on hand were great. The rooms are all quite large and cosy and the view is amazing! Peter was extremely helpful and understanding, with great communication throughout our stay without being intrusive :) Dont have one complaint! We hope to come back soon!

Fantastic Cosy Retreat with Wonderful Views

As a group of ten we were all blown away by the architectural design of this property. Within 5 mins of arriving we had well and truly immersed ourselves into the serenity of the surrounds and left the hustle and bustle of the city behind us. Peter was organised, prepared, informative, approachable and the best host we could ask for. We had been sent detailed info on directions, user guides etc prior to our visit. We had a breakage (part of the glass front to the log fire) which was accidental, but he handled the situation better than we could have anticipated and reassured us that these things happen. He was to hand for any queries and checked in to see if he could help each morning. We would love to return, the photos do not do the experience justice!

Magnificent property with a magnificent view

A perfect place to escape for a couple of days. A really interesting home architecturally - which complimented the awesome views into the Kanimbla Valley. A labour of love from the owner / architect / and welcoming party - Peter. The homely house contains everything you could possibly need - and some great sit and chat areas - all with views of course. Amazing house and views

Architects Gem

This house is a real gem. It occupies a magnificent location and Peter, the owner / architect / builder has created a place worthy of the setting. Beautifully considered it is a very comfortable house from which we enjoyed the full variety of weather the mountains delivered. Incredible sunset views and swirling rainy mists shrouding the plunging cliff line. Thank you Peter for sharing this place and we look forward to finding the opportunity to return.
