Fell short of expectations
Our initial arrival at Sunrise Artist was quite disappointing. The neglected exterior, with its overgrown lawns and unkempt garden, was immediately apparent. Inside, we were concerned by the lack of cleanliness. Baked-on grease and debris covered several kitchen appliances, and others clearly hadn't been cleaned recently. The enclosed backyard patio was also problematic, with cobwebs, leaves, debris and weeds present. The patio furniture was heavily affected by mould and mildew. For comfort, additional blankets would have been appreciated, as the cooler temperatures necessitated two guests using the electric blanket. Sunrise Artist has the potential to offer a much more enjoyable experience, and we hope that attention will be given to the cleanliness and maintenance issues we encountered for the benefit of future visitors.Anna-Louise
