“I needed a budget motel for a quick pitstop on a multi-day road trip. Although the property was older and sorely needs remodeling/updating, it was obviously well cared-for to the best of the staff's ability. The property, lobby, grounds, and rooms were exceptionally CLEAN and the all of the staff we encountered were exceptionally NICE. Staff went over and above expectations to make sure we had a first floor room and to ensure that Expedia straightened out a glitch that had us booked for two rooms instead of one. “Room was no smoking, but smelled like smoke. Carpets in the halls/ stairwells were very stained and dirty. Just disn't feel very clean. Bathroom was okay. Sheets had markings on them (??)”
