“We just needed a place to sleep while in town. It was clean, small updated kitchen, and had nice washer/dryer room. However the place does desperately need a bathroom make over. Bathroom is on other side of the house from the bedrooms so that was disappointing especially in the middle of the night. Beds were comfortable but Bedrooms could use an update too. It was not what we are use to renting but we only slept there so was functional and served our purpose. ”

“Everything was great and the hot tub was greatly appreciated. I wanted to let you know that only one pool cue has a tip on it, so a previous guest may have ripped them off somehow. My daughters and i really enjoyed staying there, and it's location was very convenient. ”

“No one was on duty (not terribly unexpected) when I arrived after dinner as this is a small town and motel. There was a number to call to have someone come check me in, but there was no answer to multiple calls. Luckily, the handyman was around and called the owner who came right over - so in the end, not a big problem but something to be aware of if you're arriving "late" - (probably after a 7-8pm). “My husband and I just stayed overnight for our anniversary at the Gold Mine Hotel and Restaurant in Idaho City. They allowed us to bring our small dog, which was important to us. The small cabin was delightful, very clean, nicely decorated & very affordable compared to other options in the area. Our's had a king bed, TV, A/C, small refrigerator and microwave.
