Perfectly located to Grayson Highlands State Park. The VERY steep gravel driveway was expertly maintained and my Ford Escape had no trouble making it up and down. The guests in the lower cabin did block the driveway the first night but kindly moved their truck when asked. Not much area to walk the dog to potty that isn't gravel covered. Cabin was clean/tidy and basic, which is what I was looking for. Signage indicated pets not allowed on furniture which is understandable however, I would have loved to know that information ahead of time because I would have brought a bed and bedding for her since the cabin is INCREDIBLY drafty. Drafty to the point that her water bowl (inside) by the door was beginning to freeze. I ended up closing the bathroom doors and packing pillows at the base of the front door to conserve heat. The draft from the bathroom window and the front door were strong enough to blow the curtains. Brr! But with the heating unit set to 80 and blowing full blast, the bed area stayed warm and cozy. Lovely little spot and would stay again (but probably not in the winter.)
