We loved our stay at Riddell Cottage. You really couldn’t be much closer to the centre of town.The property was cosy, had everything we needed and had very comfortable beds. Great for couples, 2 x couples or a small family.Highly recommended

This heritage property was beautifully presented with a great mix of old world charm and modern convenience. The beds were super comfy with plenty of fluffy pillows and the bathroom was a great surprise with a deep soaking tub roomy shower and plentiful hot water. Really a great place to stay - highly recommended!

The cottage was everything we’d hoped for. A short walk into town to a great choice of coffee and breakfast options, plus only a 10-15 min drive out to some great wineries. We’ll be back!

One of those times when the property not only lives up to its expectation but surpasses them.Arriving late Friday nightentry via the keyless door was great and each room was so nice. My wife loved everything about it. Position was perfect as only a short walk to the main street so driving was minimal. Would have liked a local to do book on premises though. Mudgee itself also lived up to its hype. Food, wine, cafes, pubs and restaurants were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. The location is so close to central Mudgee. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The cottage itself was perfect for us. Warm and cozy as it was quite wet during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Our stay at Riddell Cottage exceeded expectations. The location offers convenient access to amenities, pubs, and cafes. The cottage was impeccably presented and the cleanliness and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The cottage was not only spotless but also tastefully decorated, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The beds were a dream to sleep in - we were treated to the utmost comfort and restfulness. The quality of the mattresses and bedding ensured that we woke up refreshed and ready for another day of adventures. We were delighted that both the front and back gardens of the cottage provided a generous amount of room for our dog to enjoy whilst being a secure and well-maintained outdoor space. There were numerous dog-friendly places to eat and drink nearby, which made dining out with our furry friend a breeze. One of our favourite spots in the house was the front porch. With its strategic position, we were able to bask in the warm winter sun while sipping on a cup of tea. This cosy corner quickly became our go-to spot for relaxation and reflection, offering a serene setting to unwind after a day of exploration. The kitchen was another highlight of our stay. It was well-equipped making cooking a breeze, whether we were preparing a simple breakfast or indulging in a more elaborate meal. Our stay at Riddell Cottage was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this house for a wonderful and memorable stay.

A wonderful short stay a few weeks ago during the Mudgee Classic. The cottage is well equiped with everything you need and is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Loved the fire pit.

Welcoming, comfortable house with everything supplied. Real milk and a coffee machine! Comfortable beds and little extras to make you feel your on holidays.
