“Love this place! Small property on Markoe cove. The beach is a coral beach with a seawall. Water is clear and beautiful. Our room was magnificent with old world charm. AC blew cold. Restaurant was great we ate dinner there once and breakfast everyday. It’s only a 5 minute tricycle ride to the nightlife in Sabang beach if that is your thing. “Casalay is a great place to stay for families who want to escape the hustle & bustle of life. The villas were clean, cimfortable, spacious for a family of five. the pool were great to take a break from the heat. the sraff were exceptional!!! second to none!”

“Friendly staff, big rooms with cool temperatures. I wish the pool was open! My only other suggestion would be to build an additional layer of security to the front. In its current form, anyone can walk through the gate and up to your room. From that, I felt unsafe though I did not encounter any crime. Trip was very successful otherwise - thank you!”

“The unit itself is fine, just as described and pictured in the listing, was clean and A/C worked good, though the WiFi was weak to non-exsistant during my stay. I mention that because it’s the main reason that I book certain places (I need WiFi). If they say there is WiFi and it doesn’t work, it really messes up my trip! “Ocean was not visible from room. Only window had bars over it and was one foot away from a wall. No TV. No amenities at all. Bed was rock solid. Pillows were rock solid. Room was tiny. No bidet in the bathroom. The room was very, very basic. Prison cell like. Pretty bad value compared to a number of other hotels in Sabang that are in the same price range. ”

“The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. ”
