"Luxury hotel with great views and access to lake Como. Our room was really spacious with a great view. The shore area offered a great way to reach the water and breakfast was delicious. Service was also very good. Thing that could be improved: beach area seemed to open late and at different times each day (11:15/12:30pm). Also limited food options during the stay - either very fine dining in restaurant at night or pizza (only) at the beach bar. A broader menu for dinner would’ve been welcomed. "

"Wow.. What a place! Beautiful boutique hotel with (probably) no more than 9 rooms. Hotel is run by the owner and his dedicated team who clearly love this hotel as much as he does. Staff are friendly and attentive, Chef is on another level. Hotel is situated on the hillside with unbelievable views of the lake. Rooms are beautifully furnished with everything you’ll need (inc Netflix/Amazon Prime!). Lovely breakfast served by Colin from Edinburgh who came over 19 years ago. He is the best font of local knowledge you could ever find. If you want a modern romantic hotel with service that goes above and beyond then this is the place for you. Only slight downside is actually getting into the hotel. You come in through some automated garage doors which are off a busy road. You have to dial a number on your mobile to get the gates to open. If your network doesn’t provide you with a signal you’ve got a problem! (As we found out). Also literally nothing to do in the immediate area but food is so good in the hotel this wasn’t an issue. Well done to everyone involved in this hotel.. You have done an outstanding job!"

"Several of the other reviews seemed unnecessarily harsh. For the location, which is an expensive area, this is a fine hotel for the price. It was very clean, the owners and workers were nice and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. They cooked for us one night even though we were the only ones there. The balcony views of the lake and mountains were amazing. But the road noise is for real, especially during rush hour, but calms down a lot past 7pm. Maybe bring some ear plugs if you are concerned, but it is worth the sacrifice for the view!"
