Quiet and charming house in a quiet, rural village. The local Biergarten was rum by friendly hosts. The S-Bahn station is a 20 minute walk, which provides easy access to Munich (about 20 minutes on the train). Nearby shops and markets in Buchenau and Fürstenfeldbruck for all of your needs.Extremely friendly and helpful host…Joachim is a friendly and charming host.

We had a delightful week in Bavaria thanks to staying at this property in Schongeising. We were a family of 5. The house was roomy and clean. The host was very responsive to our questions and did a great job acquainting us with the house. The house was very convenient to many Bavarian sites and the SBahn link nearby was nice. We enjoyed hearing all the birds outside in this quiet spot. We would stay again.

We loved the beautiful town of Schöngeising. Very nice and comfortable house. It has everything you need for a nice holiday. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to catch public transportation. A nice walk to the S-Bahn but it wasn’t bad. Very nice host and very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place.

Rented here for my family to visit me during the birth of our first child. The Host speaks fluent English & German which is a plus. The house was clean and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. My family especially enjoyed the decor attributing it to a comfy countryside or rustic vibe. Very warming. Communication was excellent and Mr. Joachim worked with us to make the check-in & check-out convenient and simple. Location is near a bus that can get you to the S-Bahn. It’s a bit of a ways to get to the MUC airport (approximately just under 2 hours) but it’s easy connections. My family opted to rent a car and parking was very convenient. Instructions are clear and I would book this place again for friends and family that visit me as well as highly recommend this home.

Godt hus i rolige omgivelser

Overall a great property in a very good location. We were missing some items in the kitchen, oven-mitts, more cutlery (only 2 large forks?). Appliances are aged but functional, OK for a rental-property. Maybe some entertainment for those rainy evenings, a radio, a bluetooth speaker, some board-games? Thanks for a great stay though, we would come back.

The home was exactly as described. Quiet, centrally located and very clean. Our host Joachim was friendly, responsive and extremely helpful. The kitchen was fully functional which made our stay very pleasant. On non-travel days, we sat in the garden and relaxed. Internet worked without problems as did the TV and other amenities. Over all, the property was great. Comfortable, and well located. I'd strongly recommend this host and his property to anyone looking for an extended stay in the Muinch area. We hope to visit again some time in the future!

Cute place

The place was clean. Had the beds and bathrooms that the 3 of us needed and it was for the most part comfortable. The owner was responsive and prompt when we met at check in and check out. There were a couple of things that we suggested to him. He needs screens on the windows to stop bugs and birds from coming in. Fans would have helped circulate the air and cool things off too. The tub and shower need a mat to prevent slipping. We used a bath mat towel so we were safe. He only gave us 3 bath towels and 3 hand towels for 3 adults staying 3 nights. We made it work.

Clean, good train connection - great for children!

Super freundlicher Gastgeber! Super friendly host! The house is a bit old but super clean!! A shower, a large living-dining room and a small kitchen with dining area are available on the ground floor. On the upper floor another bathroom with shower and 3 bedrooms. Our children (2&4) felt very comfortable and wanted to stay even longer. Especially the garden around the house (completely fenced) is a plus. The train connection to Munich is top! In about 30 minutes you are at Marienplatz without changing. A great beer garden with a small playground is within walking distance in the village (don't forget mosquito spray ;) If the opportunity arises, we will be very happy to come back!!
