Leave everyday life behind and enjoy the peaceful location at the edge of the forest, 3 km from Münstertal’s center. Idyllically situated in the Untermünstertal district, Rotenbuck, the apartment is an ideal base for hiking and cycling tours by mountain or road bike. The path up to the Belchen, one of the Black Forest’s most beautiful mountains, starts right next to the house. From here, you can reach the Teufelsgrund visitor mine with its healing galleries in just a few minutes by car or visit the Münstertal Benedictine monastery of St. Trudpert, dating back to the ninth century. Other nearby attractions include the picturesque old town of Staufen, the mystical Nonnenmattweiher lake in the forest, the thermal baths in Bad Krozingen, and the sunny city of Freiburg im Breisgau with its cathedral and historic old town. The Markgräflerland and Kaiserstuhl regions offer hilly landscapes with vineyards. A train or car trip to Basel or a day excursion to Alsace/France is also highly recommended.
