We spent the week of Christmas 2025 in this beautiful home, and this place was absolutely perfect. It was much larger than we expected, with plenty of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean, and the owners were very communicative from day one to make sure everything was good.It had everything we needed, and the location couldn’t have been better—close to town and all that Murphy has to offer. We definitely hope to stay again when we return the area, which we do very often.

The house is perfectly cozy and spacious. We were able to enjoy every inch of the property, from the large eat in deck with grill to the quiet front porch area where we watched the deer come out to graze. Kitchen is well appointed and full of all we needed to make meals. It was a wonderful stay and we’d recommend it highly to anyone looking to feel that country vibe without being too far from town.

Great home in Murphy NC

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very roomy. The location is great. Very easy to get downtown but very private at the same time. Great outdoor space with beautiful view of mountains in the distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Quick trip to the Mountains

We really enjoyed our short stay. Found the house in a great location, well equipped and very spacious. David was very attentive to us while we didn’t have any issues, we did have the peace of mind knowing that if we needed anything then he would be there. Would love to rent again in the future.

Great location and lots of room

This rental was just right for my two week stay in Murphy. The house is just minutes from downtown and close to the highway. The property has a nice yard and was very clean, communication with the owner was seamless and there were no issues during our stay.

Family reunion

The floor plan of the house with three levels was perfect for our needs. It was a great choice with crawling infants. Very family friendly.

Nice comfortable home

This is a nice home and it is located in a beautiful wooded neighborhood. We saw several deer and even a newborn fawn on the road to the house. We enjoyed Murphy and the surrounding area.

Great Weekend Getaway!

We really enjoyed this house. Had lots of space for a 2 bedroom including a finished basement with entertainment area. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The view was great with a nice backyard. The proximity to downtown Murphy (6 minutes) was a major plus. Lots of things to do in this area! We’d recommend this house to family and friends for sure. If you visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

We stayed in this beautiful home recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were welcoming and accommodating in quickly answering any questions that we had. Our small dog enjoyed the home along with us, as the home is pet friendly. Deer were plentiful which were enjoyable to watch. The home is located close to all major areas of interest in Murphy, but far enough to enjoy peace and tranquillity. We would highly recommend the home and owners to anyone who wants to get away to the mountains!

Spacious and Convenient

Home was clean and had plenty of room for two couples. The circular driveway was very nice for entering and leaving on motorcycles. David was very pleasant and responsive when we had an issue with the heat. He quickly responded and resolved the issue. It’s very close to town as well as the casino. We enjoyed our stay in Murphy and would highly recommend David’s home. We would definitely reserve again.

Murphy home comfortable and pleasant

The house was comfortable and roomy. Conveniently located to shopping even though it is in a quite, up land neighborhood. We would have liked to have some more living room lighting, mixing bowls, a cookie sheet, pitcher, better knives, platter, and some food storage containers. We got by well, but think the house would be perfect with these items.

Peaceful setting near downtown Murphy

We stayed for four weeks to escape the Florida heat. The house is wonderful and had everything we needed for an extended stay. The comfy king bed is upstairs with an ensuite bath with two sinks and fluffy towels. There is a nice tower fan for air circulation and white noise. The main level has a large wrap around porch and the mountain view from the two rocking chairs was peaceful. There is a large flat screen smart TV in the living room. There was a bottle of wine to welcome us. The kitchen was well equipped and we had no trouble eating most of our meals in. Lots of pans, utensils and dishes/glasses. There is a large gas grill on the porch and a firepit in the back yard. The basement had a living area, ping pong table, darts and door to the large, unfenced back yard. There is a full bathroom on each of the three levels and a gas fireplace in the living room that we did not use. The owner was very responsive to any issues that arose. The neighborhood was quiet and wooded and we saw so many deer every day. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is about five minutes into Murphy which has grocery stores, Walmart and a compact downtown area with lots of shops, restaurants and breweries/wineries.
