  • Cabin is nestled on one acre with pond. Wonderful getaway for fishing and swimming. Very quiet and peaceful area. Only 3 miles to downtown and 5 miles to casino. Whitewater rafting and kayaking on nearby Nantahala river.

Sweet peaceful retreat!! The master bedroom is a large room with an en suite bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances. My absolute favorite thing was the daybed on the back porch, While my husband fished, I enjoyed listening to the birds and the bullfrogs while I was reading laying on the daybed. So incredibly relaxing!!! At night, we sat on the back porch watching the fireflies which we have not seen in years). The house was spotless clean. We didn't use the downstairs but it had a living room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room.

The property was exactly as described. It was well equipped. In fact, it was the most equipped home I ever rented. Communication with the hose was excellent. Issues were taken care of quickly. If you want quiet in a quaint setting, this is the place to be. If you're senior you'll be happy to know the path down to the dock is easy as well as the trip back up. All in all this place was the best. Great for a single, a couple or a family of children. It's definitely off the beaten path.

There was a little confusion at check in one we were able to get into the Treehouse it was beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 4 nights at the peak fall change this year! The home and location are wonderful!! The house has everything you need, and the view was beyond relaxing! Local suggestions--Andrews Rail Tour, Two Crows Farm, Fields of the Wood.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative comment would relate to the one lane road. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch overlooking the pond. The kitchen was stocked better than any other place we've stayed, and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.We would stay here again.

Relaxing retreat

Lovely cabin. Well kept with a relaxing view of a pond. Will say that the drive thru the neighborhood is a bit stressful, as it is a one lane winding mountain road, but worth the drive.

Anniversary vacation

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We got to do a lot of fishing on the pond and we caught a lot of fish using the paddle boat provided. Thanks for letting us stay we hope to come back again.

Despite the rain

Property is as advertised. We had a wonderful stay despite 5 days of heavy rains. Convenient to town and the casino. Finally got to fish on sixth day but only had two bites but no catches. Would highly recommend this property for its quietness and view of pond. Will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing & Fun Stay in Murray,NC

We really enjoyed our stay here. So much room for 5 people with spacious living areas and bedrooms. Great amenities like the kayaks and the screened in porch with a lovely view of the pond. Highly recommend this rental for cooking meals as the kitchen is super well stocked with anything you might need. The place was very clean and the host’s quick responses were appreciated.

Spectacular

We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary and it was amazing with amazing lake views. The property had three beautifully decorated bedrooms, a dining room, and a fun-filled basement. We loved relaxing on the screened balcony and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake There was a large water raft with life jackets it was amazing I recommended one hundred percent we will be returning amazing words can not express 👍👍👍👍👍

Just perfect!

The house was delightful, very clean! Nost well stocked rental I have ever stayed at. No, serious, it has everything you could need, plus some! Plan to come back, hopefully every year!

Fishing

It was a great place and would definitely recommend this place. The fishing was our favorite part accept for the four snapping turtles around the dock that loved stealing our worms. Over all a fantastic experience and beautiful view from screened in porch. Thank you and god bless

Pond Getaway

Beautiful pond and outdoor area led to great fishing. We caught about 15 fish in one day between the two of us. The view from the porches is amazing and the outdoor bed is great for napping! The cabin is well laid out and very clean! Downtown Murphy is close by and the Casino is only about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay and Kay was a great host.

Perfect for all ages

It was a beautiful, spacious home that had such a family feel to it. I was worried my teenagers would be bored with my idea of a getaway. Not at all... they are already asking when we can go back. We look forward to next time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
