Amazing Vacation

Al’s place was amazing to stay at! We loved being close to the beach (steps away) and the community is so cute! Pickleball and tennis courts! The pools were a blast, and we had an overall great time.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Surfside Beach. The house was clean, nicely renovated, and spacious. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the extremely hot weather we experienced during our stay. The house was decorated so nicely and had a great beachy feel to it. The walk to the beach was an efficient 3 minutes, and the beach itself was stunning!! Beautiful, clean sand and shallow, warm waters (in August). The outdoor shower was super convenient to clean off after an afternoon in the sand. The outdoor deck was great for hanging out in the evening, we enjoyed the outdoor fan and the comfortable seating in this area. The house was conveniently located to all amenities - grocery stores, gas stations, fast food places, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place for a beach vacation.

Steps from beach!

Our family had a wonderful time this past week. House was very conveniently located to the beach. Our family loved the back porch area - very relaxing! House was very clean and perfectly stocked in the kitchen. Only recommendation for kitchen would be to add a couple of wine glasses. We rented two golf carts for our family, however, they cannot leave the Oceanside Village neighborhood (except for private parking for beach across the street - we were aware of that ahead of time but that beach was very crowded due to the summer season). It ended up being easier for our family to walk a short distance in the other direction - for a much less crowded beach experience (and where we could use our canopy tent). Kids enjoyed nightly golf cart rides around the neighborhood so the cart rentals were still useful/fun for the kids. Overall, great location, friendly hosts, well stocked rental that is very nicely decorated/very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Perfect Family Fun

The unit was perfect for us! It has everything we need to keep everyone entertained. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the ability to rent a golf cart. Make life easy and the 17-year-olds really love driving around. We would definitely come back another year.

First Week

We had an amazing first week of summer at Al's Place! It was the perfect size and location for our group. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped with all of our needs. Owner was very responsive as well! We would definitely choose this spot again!

Wonderful home and location

This home is beautifully done in many ways! Everything was new or relatively new, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Kitchen has all you need, they have a selection of toys for kids and games for families, plenty of towels, and even the layout of the house was great for early risers to get coffee and sit on the fantastic deck without bothering others. The covered deck was such a blessing - good shade and terrific view of a window of ocean which other houses on that street do not have. Just a great place! And super nice owner!

New years

Awesome location. Great views of ocean. Watched the sunrise on the last morning from the deck. Great communication from owner. Very clean and kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need and more. Very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. If you are in the area during November and December make sure you check out Brookgreen’s Nights of a Thousand Candles. It was amazing.

Beautiful Family Home

This house looks just like the pictures. The view is beautiful. We had 5 adults and 2 children in the house and it was plenty of space. The homeowner was very responsive when we needed anything or had any questions.

Amazing rental property!!!

The property owner was very nice and super easy to communicate with! We also were able to check in EARLY and that is phenomenal especially for a big family like mine after driving through the night from PA. The house was perfect with everything you could ask for. Super easy access to the beach (across the street) and extremely easy and fun after we rented a golf cart! I would highly recommend this place for a stay!

Excellent property.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Great location and amenities. The booking was very easy and communication was excellent! Would definitely recommend this property to everyone. We had 8 adults, one 8 yr old and a 14 month old and were very comfortable! We would for sure stay there again! Just loved it!

Best stay ever

The home was beautifully renovated and exceeded our expectations. It’s was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance we could want. The beds were the most comfortable i’ve ever slept in at any rental home/hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! Everything was as advertised in the listing. The community was wonderful and our kids loved zipping around on golf carts. It is extremely close to the beach and very close to restaurants and amenities. The homeowner was extremely responsive when we reached out and very helpful. Definitely highly recommend staying at Al’s Place!!!

Family Vacation 2022

We always take a family vacation for a week with children and grandchildren. Chose to go to surfside this year over the 4th of July. Very nice, secure gated community with pool, splash pad and other games to play. This home located on Lark Street was perfect location right across from the beach with an ocean view and seen the best fireworks up and down the beach right from the deck! Literally only took a few minutes to walk to the beach but we did rent a golf cart from Oceanside resort. The only negative thing I would say about staying at this house is that you cannot take the golf cart anywhere else besides the private beach access and in the gated community. The house was beautifully decorated and nicely designed to accommodate our family. The entire process from booking to check in and checking out was extremely simple!

Great Location!! Very Clean!!! Great Host!!

We were able to sleep all ten of us very comfortably. The host were very quick to respond if we had any questions. Kitchen is fully equipped so no need to bring anything from home :) Great views. Easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our evenings sitting the porch!! We hope to book again soon!
