This was taken from my room at the Virunga Lodge. @volcanoes.safaris I will admit to it being an expensive place to stay but my goodness if you are in Rwanda and want an experience you will never forget Gorilla trekking while staying here is an amazing combination. This is near sunset at the beautiful Virunga lodge Rwanda surprised me with its beauty and here at the lodge beauty just strikes you in a way you never forget. The fact that the memories of the lodge are not completely forgotten when compared to the gorilla treks is a testament to how great it is. Prepare for an overdose of cute. This very young mountain gorilla came right up to me when I was watching his family in Rwanda. My guide Francious made a grunting noise and it backed up but I could of reached out and touched him. Seeing the mountain gorillas is such a primal amazing experience.
