“Great Hotel close to the Piece Hall and Halifax town centre ”
“Jackie was really good & extremely polite. Showed me to my room which was on the ground floor. The room was really nice with a large shower room. Nice comfortable as well. Can't fault this hotel at all. I parked over the road at the woolshop.”

Manager and staff very welcoming and happy to answer any questions raised.
A large breakfast is also offered, and at £9.95 per person was excellent value.”

“Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. “Food was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good.
Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken.
Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so.
Would definitely go back if we were in the area.”
“Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.

“Really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Lots of attention to detail. Very private spot. Weather was hot so we enjoyed the very comfy sunbeds and were able to eat outside, enjoying the afternoon/evening sunshine. The hosts had provided a large fan in the room, which was most welcome. “The hotel itself needs a little bit of updating in terms of decor, but the room we stayed in was fine for us and was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was OK (the water pressure was a bit low) and it was nice having a full sized fridge in the room. The staff were always friendly and it was an ideal base for visiting family in Halifax”
