We loved it.

Our team enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for all 34 of us. Location was great for our training.

We had plenty of room for 20 people, with a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Dave stopped in to say hello to our crew on the first day. He made himself very available for any question or concern. There were so many extra touches at this location that made it special to us.

This property is beautiful. Lots of room for groups or family gatherings. Great layout for privacy of individual families and shared space for group gatherings. My only discomfort/ surprise was the host on site. My previous rentals have always offered exclusive/ private use of the property we paid to use.

July 4th family reunion

Stayed here with a group of 30 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. House had everything we could ask for and more. Dave was available for every question or request we had as well. Highly recommend this listing! There is also lots to do in the area and the house is in a very convenient spot

Amazing Stay for a Group

The VRBO was used for a bachelor party weekend and all of the guys had a great time and really appreciated the property. There was a lot of room and things to do both inside and out. Dave is a wonderful host and is very attentive to detail. He checked in the day before check in to make sure everything was ready to go and even secured an early check-in for the group. We will definitely use this property again!

Large home for large group

Loved the number of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, enough space for everything and everyone. Many decks, the large deck was perfect for all of our meals and group gatherings. There are many sets of stairs, but was not a issue for our group. Stocked pond was loved by all, everyone enjoyed catching fish. Owner Dave was very friendly, easy to work with.

Fun for the whole family

This place worked out great for our large family's annual getaway. More than 30 of us spread out throughout the house. The great-grandparents and grandparents, had access to everything on one level. Young families with babies had a quiet wing to themselves. Two kitchens, the large grill, and Blackstone flat top made meal prep easy and fun for our group. Some of the State's best parks and beaches are just a short drive away. If golf is your thing, there are really nice, affordable, courses nearby. We loved everything the location and rental property had to offer--including ducks! The host took care of our requests and answered our questions promptly. David was wonderful to work with.

Fabulous stay!!

The place was even better than the pictures. I think they recently did a make over and it looks great. The place is massive with tons of space to spread out. There are multiple kitchens, which is great. The main one is well equipped with everything you might need. The way it's set up is nice because each family had it's own sort of wing! The back deck is lovely. It's huge and so fun to sit out on, drink your tea and watch the ducks in the pond. So peaceful. You can also walk to the Whippi Dip for ice cream! Doesn't get better than that. The beds were comfy. Dave was super responsive and nice. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks Dave!

Old and Worn Property

We stayed at this home from July 7-10 2023 the home did not live up to the claim of being in pristine condition The outside of the home was very dirty and worn with several boats in the yard and a poorly maintained back yard. The inside of the house matched the lack of care of the outside. The furniture was old and broken. One large stuffed chair had a vice grip attached for moving the back of the chair. A couch had support board exposed when you sat down on it. Although we paid a cleaning fee we were required to remake all beds used and clean the floors. Appliances were also old and dirty. We paid a premium price for an old, not maintained home. would not recommend this home.

Extended Family vacation

We fulfilled Mom's dream to have the family of 10 kids with spouses and grandkids all together for a week long stay. Though there were a lot of us, we had plenty of room to be together and/or separate to different gathering areas when anyone needed a break. The kids LOVED fishing and catching frogs. We took day trips exploring the area and enjoyed a few firepit fires at night. It was a wonderful stay!

Great for reunions!

We had a large family of 35..there was still room...alot of kitchen space and seating for all..great views to relax..beautiful back yard ..Dave helped with whatever questions..great spot for a large get together

Perfect 30th

Rented the place for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. Had lots of fun. Plenty of space both inside and outside for everyone to spread out and socialize. David was available at a moment's notice while maintaining my group's privacy. Will definitely book again.

Fantastic place for a large group

The property is well maintained and offers lot of space for a large group. The onsite pond is a welcome addition. Kids enjoyed fishing there. The owner, Dave, is nice and always willing to help. Overall we had a great stay at this place!

Works well for large family.

Overall, we were pleased with the property. The fishing pond was a big hit with all our little kids (ages 2-12) and Dave was great at providing equipment and even bait! Dave was also very responsive to our requests and quick to get what we needed. He even purchased an electric griddle for us to use. It was great! The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of large pots & pans, baking pans, and large serving/mixing bowls. Overall, a positive experience. Dave was very patient with our very loud, rambunctious family!! The only thing we would change is the location. We'd love to be on a beach! But, the drive to Hoffmaster State Park is about 5-6 minutes. It's close to Whippy Dip and Craig's Cruisers; and LOTS of shopping! A few things: for our family (we had 38 there for 2 of the 5 nights) we were short silverware. We had to call for clean hand towels and it seems it would be easier for everyone involved to just have 3-4 extras in each bathroom; same for kitchen towels, etc. We did notice that the hanging light fixtures (esp. above game table) were quite dusty. My sister-in-law wanted to clean them everyday! For our family, we would have preferred to pay a cleaning fee of $200-300 rather than having to vacuum, Swiffer, (my husband damp mopped the kitchen), and potentially run the dishwasher. It all got done, but at other homes we've stayed in, just getting bedding and towels to the bathrooms or laundry room and cleaning out the fridge was all that was required b/c of a cleaning fee. I know that 5 hours is a tight time frame for getting it done, but maybe hire more cleaning people? Also, signage needs improvement. The rules for what to do when checking out need to be written out and displayed at each bathroom area rather than telling the tenants the night before.

Great property for families

This property was fantastic! Dave the owner was extremely helpful, let us check in early to help to get things set up before family arrived. The house was very clean and plenty of space. Location was great. Would highly recommend this property.

Great for our large group

This was a great space for our group (20). The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. We had all the amenities necessary to cook for our group. We will definitely use this house again.
