Fantastic stay in Platis Gialos

The cove-apartment was very beautiful, comfortable and cozy for three people, with a stupendous terrace on which you spend most of the time you are there. The main bed was quite big, the WC was excellent and the kitchen had everything you may need. There is a 1-2 minute stroll to the gorgeous beach, you do not want to go from there... it is probably one of the best beaches I've been to in my life, And other beaches like Psarou, Paraga or Paradise are at walking distance (10-15 minutes). Small shops nearby, bus stop also close... did I say the beach is awesome with 5-6 excellent restaurants? If you can, go visit this place. It is worth it, and the owner is always willing to help you, giving directions, advises, anything you need. The capital is only a 15 minute drive by bus, and it is small but beautiful. Do not miss the sunset in Little Venice, and the small, beautiful streets... a place to love. Definitely, we will be back. It is truly one of those places you cannot forget.

El sitio..precioso. Cerca de la playa y de transporte público. El encargado del establecimiento...super encantador y eficiente. Si volviera a Mikonos. Sin duda alguna volveria al mismo sitio!!

Hotel muy bien ubicado, confortable y amabilidad

El hotel esta a 5 minutos caminando de Platis Gialos, una de las playas mas bonitas y romanticas de Mykonos. El personal que atiende el hotel es muy amable, antes de llegar pudimos coordinar un transfer desde el puerto del ferry, asi como tambien pudimos hacerlo para continuar con nuestro viaje a Santorini. Alojamiento: La habitacion es un apartamento muy comodo y funcional, de bienvenida nos regalaron una canasta con pan, frutas, cafe, agua, spaguettis y vino, se puede complementar con un pequeño market que esta justo donde estan los restaurantes. La cama es muy comoda, el banio es rustico pero funcional. La limpieza de la habitacion se hizo a diario, desde la terraza se tiene una linda vista y se puede aprovechar el atardecer. Transporte: a 10 minutos caminando se encuentra la estacion de buses hacia Mykonos aprox. 2 euros - 10 minutos de trayecto, mismo tiempo hacia la estacion para tomar el taxi bote que te lleva a todas las playas del sector por 20 Euros (Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari Psarrou, Elia). Recomiendo Super Paradise, Agrari y Elia. Playa Platis Gialo: tienes variedad de restaurantes, existe show formal de baile girego en un restaurant que esta cerca de la estacion de buses, en otros se baila de acuerdo a la alegria de los comensales. La playa es muy bonita para nadar y tomar sol, yo recomiendo si vas a estar varios dias lo mejor es comprar una sombrillas por aprox. 12 euros. Visitamos Mykonos en Sep. 17/2016, 2 noches es ideal para conocer.

We stayed in the studio apartment for 6 nights in October and we really enjoyed our stay. The owner and his family are so friendly. The studio is not sea view but we didn't mind atall. There is a lovely courtyard just outside the door with table and chairs under the trees and we loved sitting there, so quiet, private and it catches the evening sun through the trees. There is another terrace, with stunning sea views a few steps further up that is unshaded so gets the sun all day. The studio is on two levels, the entrance and kitchen is on one level then down 7/8 steps there is the bed, fridge etc and bathroom. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment as well from the entrance/parking. The studio kitchen at the top of the stairs by the entrance door has a sink, oven and hob and lots of pots, pans crockery etc. The kettle and fridge is down the stairs which was a bit inconvenient at times but not a huge problem. The big bed was comfortable and the bathroom, although small, is adequate and clean with lots of hot water and a good shower. The walk to the beach is super easy, just 2 or 3 minutes where there are (expensive!) restaurants and sunbeds. My only suggestions/complaints would be: No sink plugs (why?!) No shelf in the bathroom so we had to perch our stuff on the toilet cistern and a big mirror is needed, the only mirror is above the basin which meant I couldn't check out my outfit. Also, we would have loved some sunbeds for the sun terrace as there's only chairs.

This is the best hospitality we have ever experienced, the host went above and beyond to ensure we had as smooth of an experience as possible and recommended the best places to see. The view was incredible and the apartment clean, well designed and less than 5 minutes from the beach, which meant a very nice view from the balcony.

Host. 5/5 Antoni was informative, helpful and polite. An essential personal service for Bay Bee's. Location. 5/5 Perfect situation, close to beach and good restaurants, suitable for couples and families. Cleanliness. 5/5 The ladies that cleaned the rooms, are without fault and by far it was one of the cleanest room's I have ever stayed in. A crucial part to anyone's stay. Room. 2/5 We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are by far the better rooms, higher and better views. The 1 bedroom apartments are not what you see as advertised on the website & photos are not accurate. Not much of a view & on top of other rooms without much privacy and the rooms are dark and most of the windows in our apartment could not be opened due to the fact they either opened out on to someone else's balcony or opened on to a store room. As we were staying 12 nights, and we were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we did request to move to a better room and agreed to pay for the difference which was originally agreed by the Management on the 2nd night of our holiday. However on the evening prior to our room move (on our 6th night) we were told we could not move to the better apartment (which we had paid for) as we were told the room was already going to be occupied by someone else and therefore we could not move. Extremely disappointing. I would recommend Bay Bee's... HOWEVER in a 2 or 3 room apartment on a high floor.

Can I keep this place for myself?

This place was amazing. It was out from town and the buses were not running because of covid (keep reading) however, it was a small walk to the most amazing beach ever. Stefani was very helpful in telling us the ends and outs of Mykonos. The kitchen had everything we needed, we wanted for nothing, the AC worked great and the patio view was amazing. I want to go back and stay forever!
