Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Im Haus war alles, was nötig war. Der Pool war prima und der Außengrill auch. Sehr nette Leute, die sich vor Ort um alles gekümmert haben. Leider ist die restliche Insel immer mehr vermüllt. Dafür kann das Ferienhaus und die Vermieter natürlich nichts.

Ruime villa met groot zwembad. Erg afgelegen dus auto is een must. Het winkeltje in het dorp stelt niet veel voor, een paar keer om brood gegaan maar stond voor een dichte deur, als ze wel open waren was er maar 1 soort hard desem brood. Een paar keer geen warm water tijdens het douchen of in bad gaan ondanks dat wij maar met 4 personen waren en niet met 10 man die moesten douchen. De bedden waren echt heel hard dus aan de agency nog doorgegeven dat nieuwe matrassen of toppers wel comfortabeler zou zijn. Zelf dit opgelost door van 2 opklapbedden de matrassen eraf gehaald en die als topper te gebruiken. Wel hele goede contacten met de agency en Valia van het bureau, ze reageerde snel en probeerde ons met alle problemen zo goed mogelijk te helpen.

Anemomylos Villa - Skepasti Village

Lovely Villa and pool - perfect for our family holiday x children have certainly made the most of the lovely pool - we would definitely book again !! Owners and Think Villa ( Valia) so very helpful and kind Highly recommend

Perfect Hosts and beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful stay at Anemomylos Villa I. It was a beautiful, spacious and immaculate Villa with everything you could need for your stay. The pool area was gorgeous with a fabulous pool, built in bbq area with a fresh supply of charcoal and stunning views of the hills and mountains in the distance. Our hosts Eleni and Nikos could not have been nicer, more welcoming or attentive. We received a nice welcome basket of goodies on arrival. They made us feel very relaxed, thoroughly welcomed and at home. The village of Skepasti is very traditional and the locals, despite the language barrier, made us feel very very welcome, looking after us so kindly when we popped into the local cafe. Panormos town is about 5 minutes away by car and is beautiful, with a supermarket, gift shops and lovely restaurants. There is a gorgeous port with beaches and watersports. So much else to see all around the island, with the villa as the perfect base as it's minutes from the international road taking you to most sights. There is a Lidl Supermarket about 20 minutes away in Rethymno for a bigger food shop should you need it. Thank you Eleni and Nikos for your warmth and hospitality and we can't wait to come back.

Que dire si ce n'est que la villa était magnifique, propre, avec tout ce que l'on peut attendre d'une location de vacances. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très accueillant. Tolle abgelegene Villa

Die Hosts sind ein niedliches älteres Paar, die beiden haben uns den schon so schönen Urlaub mit ihren Nettigkeiten nur weiter versüßt! Die Villa ist toll, der Pool, ausgestattet mit Outdoor-Dusche, jeden Tag Ort des Geschehens & die Küche plus Outdoor-Grill reichen völlig aus, um große Gruppen zu bekochen. Alle Zimmer sind klimatisiert und haben einen Zugang zu eigenen Balkons, auch super! Das Dorf Skepasti ist nicht allzu leicht zu erreichen, dabei sollte man sich lieber an die Schilder als an Navigationssysteme halten, bevor man auf einen abgelegenen Feldweg geführt wird. Von Skepasti selbst sind es 25 Minuten bis nach Rethymnon, wo man alles erleben kann was das Herz begehrt! Strand, Wassersport, Tavernen & Bars und ganz wichtig, Lidl. Bei großen Gruppen haben wir den Lidl oft aufgesucht, um uns zu versorgen. Alles in allem war die Villa für unsere Gruppe (4 Pärchen, alter zwischen 18 und 23) absolut perfekt, ein Mietwagen ist aber ein Muss. Wir wären gerne länger dort geblieben!

Toller Urlaub

Eine sehr schöne Villa über 2 Etagen mit großem Wohn/Kochbereich, 4 Schlafräumen und 2 Bädern. 2 Terassen. Alles da was man im Urlaub benötigt. Sehr nette Vermieter!!! Absolut toller Pool genug Platz für die Autos. Jeder Zeit wieder.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Villa

Wir haben mit 2 Familien und 2 kleinen Kindern tolle 10 Tage in der wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Besonders toll waren die Gastfreundschaft und die Herzlichkeit unserer Vermieter. Die Villa an sich ist sehr schön gelegen und toll ausgestattet. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist atemberaubend, der Pool ist fantastisch. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Tolle Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe im Nachbarort Panormos. Zwei kleine Minuspunkte gibt es: die Matratzen sind leider alle knüppelhart und unbequem, gut und bequem geschlafen haben wir nicht. Ebenso muss man sich darüber bewusst sein, dass in unmittelbarer Nähe die Hauptverkehrsachse von Kreta verläuft, speziell die Lastwagen hört man draußen sehr deutlich. Drinnen ist es aber angenehm ruhig. In Summe war es ein toller Aufenthalt.

Perfectly located family sized Villa in quiet local village community.

The booking process was very professional throughout, all emails answered straight away. Not only did Valia of ThinkVilla assisted with airport transfer and hire car companies. Upon arrival Mr.Nikos and his wife greeted us and showed us around. As we were arriving late we requested some basic groceries to be at the Villa upon our arrival which Mr.Nikos had organized for us. We were a party of 7 adults, 2 children and 1 infant and never felt cramped. Loction was prefect, the Villa is one of two located next door to each other but the pools are located back to front so that you have total privacy. The views across the village are amazing and the night sky in the absence of light pollution whilst sat on the veranda was something special. Interior; very well presented and very clean. Beds were changed once a week, towels were changed twice weekly. Exterior; pool was the prefect size and very clean. The outside area was cleaned daily by Mr.Nikos including the BBQ, all rack and cooking equipment with fresh charcoal provided. Local amenities; The Villa is located within walking distance of a local Taverna and I urge anyone that stays here to go. It is very cheap, open very early and closes very late, provides alcoholic, soft drinks and ice cream etc the locals are very friendly. You can eat at the Taverna, however you do need to book in advance, the food is all locally source and excellently made. There is also another excellent Taverna located half way between Skepasti and Panormos. Within the village of Skepasti there is also a small shop. The shop is not easy to find (ask at the Taverna) and they do not speak English but if you provide a list they will source ALL your food/butchery and bakery requirements. Failing that you could go into Panormos where there is 3-4 mini markets, failing that you could go into Rethymno where we found 2 large Supermarkets. Panormos is the nearest port village (less than 5 mins by car), it has two beaches and there is a great selection of restaurants. There is also a butchers and bakery however we found these to be expensive, so used the small shop in Skepasti instead along with the occasional trip to the supermarket in Rethymno for all our food/supply needs. Overall we had a lovely 2 week family holiday, I can’t thank Valia enough for her assistance during the booking process and Mr & Mrs Nikos along with the community of Skepasti for their hospitality during our stay.

Absolutely Fantastic

Our first impressions of the villa were excellent. Nikkos and his wife greeted us and showed us around. Four bedrooms over two floors. Plenty of room for two families. The villa was in excellent order and very clean. The pool was amazing with plenty of space. The views from the villa were over Skepasti where you are within walking distance of a cafe, small shop, taverna. Panormos is the nearest resort (10 minutes by car, or you can get the bus from Skepasti. Taxis were around 10 euros each way) where there were a good selection of restaurants and bars, two beaches and a number of shops, bakery, butchers. Earning out was very reasonably priced and was of good quality. Although it was high season it never felt busy. I cannot thank the people of Skepasti enough for making us feel so welcomed, most of all Nikkos and his family for looking after us during our stay. We will definitely be back..

Stunning!!

Fantastic, spacious 4 bedroom villa with lovely views of the Creten mountains and great pool, BBQ and table tennis. We couldn't have asked for friendlier or more generous hosts than Nikos & Eleni who even went as far as to bring us fresh figs, olive oil and baked bread. We were travelling with small children and they made sure they had everything required. Own car required as nearest amenities in the lovely fishing village of pomormos approximately 5 minutes travel by car. Hopefully we will return, Crete is a lovely island.
