Great experience

The villa was really nice, quite close to the beach (by car) and some nice villages and town. Our experience with ThinkVilla was great.

6 Häuser und eine Taverne etwas abgelegen

Das Haus hat eine einfache Ausstattung. Oben befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Einzelbetten. Diese kann man problemlos zusammenschieben. Zudem befindet sich oben auch das große Bad mit Badewanne. Im Erdgeschosse die offene Küche mit Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Und ein kleines Bad mit einer einfachen Dusche, WC und eine einfache Waschmaschine mit max. 800 Umdrehungen, Herr Monolis ist der sogenannte Hausmeister der sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ist. Jeder Wunsch wird berücksichtigt. Draußen der Pool der super zum abkühlen ist. Auch ein Grill steht pro Haus zur Verfügung.

Tolle Villa in gepflegter Umgebung

Man braucht aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto, aber dafür sehr ruhig und erholsam. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Der Concierge hat mitten in der Nacht auf uns gewartet und die Betreuerin ist superlieb. Die Putzfrauen sehr höflich und gründlich.

We spent two wonderful weeks in the proper and big house with lot of comfort and free Wi-Fi! Locally we were spoiled by Popi and her husband during our staying! Familienurlaub in wunderschönem Häuschen

Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub zu fünft in diesem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war ausreichend Platz für alle vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Gastgeber waren prima und haben die griechische Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt. Der Pool bietet jederzeit eine schöne Abkühlung und es sind mehr als genug Liegen zum Entspannen vorhanden. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, Supermärkte gibt es keine in Fußnähe. Deshalb ist ein Auto dringend zu empfehlen! Insgesamt haben wir einen tollen Urlaub gehabt und werden uns bestimmt noch lange an diese 2 Wochen erinnern.

We enjoyed our holiday in the villa but a few things let it down. We had a ant problem in the kitchen where they got everywhere on tea clothes, work tops and even in the cooker. The villa itself was lovely but could have done with more kitchen equipment. We were very disappointed with the garden/pool area as the garden was very unkempt and decking area around the pool rotten and unsafe. The management team did contact the owner and they did come and tidy up garden but regarding the decking there was nothing that could be done as it's old and rotten with nails sticking up. Also on the pool the safety bar between the main and baby pool was really wobbly so didn't want to hold onto this. Also the pump didn't seem to be working fully as pool would get dirty very quick throughout the day. We are very disappointed as the pictures on the website showed the villa when it was newly build and now there are even 3 villas infront blocking the view from the pool area. I think the photos need changing to show the real stansdrad of the villa as this area was the main reason we booked this villa.

A beautiful villa in an amazing location

We had a wonderful 14 night stay in this villa. It was clean with everything we needed and we never tired of the beautiful view. The owners were so lovely, leaving us tasty homemade produce and were always helpful and easy going. There are 3 more villas being built in front of the original 3 but there was no building work going on so it wasn’t a problem. The pool was cleaned every day and the beds changed and the floor cleaned every 4 days. We did our main shopping the first day in Lidl but after that we used the mini market and bakery in the village which was ideal for essentials. Finding the property isn’t easy the first time but I would advise not to turn left from the motorway until you reach the BP garage (on your right when driving from Heraklion). Thankfully we ignored our SatNav as it wanted us to turn earlier which would have sent us down some really rocky roads and it rerouted. There are beautiful beaches and towns in the area within 10-15 mins drive away. Valia was extremely helpful and always answered our questions quickly. I’m so glad that we booked this property and we definitely want to go back.

Fabulous Family Holiday

We arrived at the Villa at 10.30pm and were greeted by the lovely Mrs P and her daughters. They had prepared a delicious light snack,welcome drink and other essentials that we needed. The accommodation was very nice and clean and the air con worked effectively. The kitchen equipment was a little on the sparce side and lacked a couple of items such as oven trays and breakfast bowls but we managed ok. The BBQ was excellent. On the downside there are about 4 more villas under construction which does partially block the view of the sea from the ground level however you get a wonderful view from the balcony. There wasn't any active building work going on whilst we were there so it didn't disrupt our stay. The Cretan locals were all very welcoming and generous, on our final day Mrs P delivered a freshly cooked meal to our villa of lamb and potatoes, it was absolutely delicious and so thoughtful. A lovely holiday and we enjoyed exploring Rethimno and surrounding areas.

Super entspannter Urlaub

In diesem Haus passt alles ... sehr sauber und gemütlich! Es war bei der Waschmaschine / Geschirrspüler sogar das Pulver dabei sowie Spülmittel für die Abwasch war vorhanden... der Kühlschrank war am ersten Tag auch befüllt mit Butter Marmelade und Wurst sowie einen Toast! Bekammen von der Vermieterin einen Willkommenssnack mit Wein und ein Abschiedsessen !! Das Haus ist wirklich zum weiterempfehlen!!!

Beautiful stay

We stayed one week late April in the villa with our four children and had a wonderful time. It's not far from the beaches and Rethimno, the view is fantastic. Monolis and Poppi who take care of the place are charming and full of attentions. We will definitely come back!

Perfect!

We stayed at Villa II with two families, 4 adults and 2 children, and had a perfekt vacation there. The Villa is very comfortable and clean, and there is nothing you will be missing. We enjoyed the garden, pool and the quiet surrounding, but also the beach close by. We are travilling a lot, but we didn't met a host family who was that hospitable before. Thanks a lot!

Lovely remote villa

The villa and pool were amazing, the views were superb, we had everything we needed including inflatables and pool games 😁 The peace and quiet was wonderful as we spent the nights eating late dinners or BBQ on the downstairs balcony sharing a glass or two of red wine, everything was clean and in good repair and we couldn't ask for any more xx the only problem we had was finding the villa in the first place, we knew it was remote but we drove round for about three hours looking for it. The directions could've been better as they were a little vague. We finally found it using tripadvisor, 😳if this could be rectified and a little more local info put in the villa of local places to visit, best beaches, local restaurants etc then perfection xxx thank you for a memorable holiday x

It was our first time in Crete and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay

We were blown away with the villa, inside and out it was stunning and so comfortable, it had everything we needed for our holiday.The family who looked after us were amazing; the pool was cleaned everyday, Popi and her daughter cleaned the villa, changed the bedding and towels halfway through our stay and Popi surprised us with a dish which was delicious, we were brought fruit and fresh produce too!, on our last day they waved us off, such lovely people. The views from the villa will stay in our minds forever. thankyou for everything .

Séjour Magnifique et inoubliable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa. La vue est magnifique, la maison très chaleureuse et très bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins ce qui complète ce parfait séjour. Nous étions avec notre fille(19 mois) et tout était prévue également pour elle : chaise haute, lit parapluie, couverts pour enfants et super pataugeoire dans la piscine. Elle a également particulièrement apprécié la présence des brebis et des chèvres non loin de là. En résumé nous recommandons absolument cette location!!!

Erholsamer Urlaub

Das Domizil liegt etwas abgelegen vor der Küste. Ein Auto ist zwingend notwendig. Es ist ruhig, erholsam und modern eingerichtet. Die Housekeeper Manolis und Popi sind äußerst nette Leute und stehen einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ein vollends gelungener Kreta Urlaub.

Simply wonderful.

New, clean villa with a peaceful view of the surrounding countryside and glimpse of the sea. Thank you for the gifts of local produce; cucumbers and figs. Oh, and the white bath robes were a lovely touch.

Everything was perfect !!

Very nice house, clean and brand new. Wonderful view. The host is very helpful and kind. Fruits, and fresh drinks at our arrival... We recommend ! Gps needed to find the house.

A place where you can really escape the fast pace of everyday life.

We hired a car with a GPS which the rental company set up our destination for us, simple at first but as we got closer, due to unpaved roads the villa was a little difficult to find, however, once we arrived, it was well worth it! We were met by the housekeeper, Popi's daughter, and once we entered our villa we were met with a wonderful welcome table of fruits and drinks. Popi went out of her way to help us, she did an amazing job and nothing was to much for her throughout our stay there. The villa itself is away from anything - a very rural location which we loved, we had to drive 20 minutes to a Lidl supermarket and then would drive to Rethymnon in the evenings which had a great atmosphere, and I found Crete on the whole to be a very safe place, this was about a 30 min drive from the villa. The Villa is a new build, all amenities are available and the views you can see from the villa are amazing. If you are looking for some real quality time with no distractions then this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!! Would definitely go back to this place again.
