Brilliant accommodation

We stayed 8 nights in Lili's apartment with our three sons aged 17, 15 and 11. This apartment ticked so many boxes... Stunning views, access to pool, walk to beach/ snorkelling, walk to town, wifi, air conditioning, parking, table tennis. Lili greeted us and kindly said she would leave us to it, but was there if we needed her, which was perfect. The box of goodies were greatly appreciated as well. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, wifi was good. The only fault I can find is the dishwasher didn't work properly so we had to was the dishes, it wasn't a big deal. The little harbour town is lovely and once I cycled down to the bakers for pastries. We did hire a car and toured about a bit but the boys were happy to stay put. The booking process was easy and Valia replied to any questions efficiently. I would gladly book again.

Great apartment, stunning location

We recently stayed for a week in this lovely, modern apartment, situated about 50 mtrs from the sea. Sitting on the balcony, watching the sunset with sound of the waves made for a superb location. The apartment is on the edge of the unspoilt coastal town of Panormo where the only noise you will hear is the sound of the sea ( and the occasional jangle of goat bells !) We found the apartment to be well equipped and made good use of the air con, dishwasher and washing machine. For our family of 4 there was ample inside space and outside there are 2 separate seating areas, a nice communal swimming pool and a great seafront garden. The owner, Mrs Lily, lives in the apartment downstairs and was there to greet us on our arrival although we arrived rather late in the evening. She was a lovely host. We spent most of our time at the beach ( 15 to 20 minutes walk ) Our favourite being the beach at the harbour, with safe swimming for the kids and overlooked by a number of tavernas where we has some fantastic seafood and could keep an eye on the children. The town itself has a multitude of restaurants and a number of small supermarkets. All in all, our family had a lovely week here and we were all sorry to leave. Note to property manager.. Other properties we have stayed in generally provide an information folder including use of appliances, a do's and don'ts list for the property as well as useful information about the surrounding area. This would be a useful addition here.

Great place to stay, especially with kids!

We just spent a really nice vacation in Mrs Lili’s apartment with our three kids. The apartment, which is on the very edge of a larger complex of apartments, was spacious, well-equipped and very clean. There is a nice terrace where you can have your meals with a gorgeous view over the ocean. It was really great to have the garden for the kids to play in. There were some garden toys provided to keep the kids busy. Location is pretty great. The town is a 15-minute walk away and has a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. Various sights are just a quick drive away. When walking towards the town along the seaside, there is a small pebble stone beach down some steps just three minutes away. We went here with the kids for a couple of times. There are more beaches a little but further. Mrs Lili welcomed us with a nice food basket and was very attentive during the whole of our stay. She lives right next door and is always there to help out. Thank you for making for our vacation such a nice one!

Lovely house by the sea

A lovely house with wonderful views, right by the sea. Nice welcome from the owner Lili, and there was even a basket full of "goodies", fruit, bread, cheese and more in the fridge! The green playground below the house was lovely for the children, as well as the pool area. House cleaning and change of towels once a week. The only thing that was really frustrating, was that the dishwasher didn't work properly, so we had to handwash most of the dishes AFTER it had been in the dishwasher... ever time... (there were missing parts that had rusted inside the washer). Beside this, we had a lovely week in this comfortable house, a short walk from genuine Panormos village. A nice and charmig harbour, several restaurants, bakery, butcher and minimarkets about 10-15 minutes away by foot. I went here with my husband, my son and his wife, and two grandchildren. We can highly recommend this house, best situated in this house area! /Ilona with family

Tolle Wohnung, schöner Ausblick, familienfreundlich, sehr sauber

Wir waren bereits in einigen Ferienwohnungen, aber haben noch nie so eine saubere Wohnung erlebt. Sie wurde zudem alle vier Tage gereinigt. Weiterhin Positiv hervorzuheben: Kühlschrank für den ersten Tag mit Wasser, Brot, Käse, Obst gefüllt. Die Besitzerin Mrs. Lilly ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit - ebenso ihr Mann. Luftmatratze, Sandspielzeug, Planschbecken würde zur Verfügung gestellt. Toller Ausblick. Supermarkt in Fußnähe. Kritikpunkte: Bad weniger modern als der Rest. Leider gibt es keine Fliegennetze. Panormos ist schön und bietet viele leckere Restaurants. Der private Garten war insbesondere für unsere Kinder toll. Wir waren Anfang Juni dort und die Anlage war noch sehr leer. Den Pool hatten wir meistens für uns alleine.

Great experience

We had a fabulous time here, the property is first class as is the owner Mrs Lili who live's beneath this apartment and is always on hand should you need anything. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned twice during our stay Only real downside is as mentioned in other reviews the third bedroom is currently not air conditioned but I am assured this will be happening soon. The walk to the village takes around 15 minutes which takes you to a true haven of good Taverna's, shops and the most friendly people we have ever had the good fortune to encounter. We chose not to hire a car which can make hauling back shopping heavy work but if you take a taxi from the rank outside the large hotel it will take you to the village, wait while you shop and bring you back to the apartment all for around 10 euro. Thank you Mrs Lili and Valia for a wonderful time

Nice apartment in beautiful surroundings

We are a family of five, with two toddlers and a 12 year old, who spent 4 weeks in Lili's apartment. It is a very nice apartment, beautifully decorated and practically equipped. Stunning view towards the sea that can be enjoyed either from the spacious balcony or from the garden. There are three bedrooms, however one is without window and air conditioning, so it can be challenging to use midsummer unless you keep the door open towards the kitchen/living room. Plenty of closet space, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge w/freezer, coffee maker, toys for the kids... we didn't miss anything. The host is very welcoming and helpful and takes very good care of all her guests. The distance to the beaches and super markets were a bit long with a two year old who does not use a stroller, but for "longer legs" it is not a problem 😊 We can highly recommend both location and apartment, and especially if traveling with children.

wonderful family holiday

We had a wonderful holiday at Sea Front House in August. The house is very good equipped. It has two terraces with a great view at the sea. Here we had a very recreative time on crete.

Ein nahezu perfekter Urlaub

Im Oktober 2016 waren wir mit 3 Erwachsenen und unserer 5 1/2- jährigen Enkeltochter zu Gast bei Frau Lili. Die Bilder der modernen und neuen Ferienwohnung im Internet wurden noch von der Wirklichkeit übertroffen. Die Eigentümerin Frau Lili begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Zur Badebucht am Stadthafen hatten wir 5 Autominuten oder 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Hier wurden wir am Sandstrand von 23 Grad warmen, sehr klaren Meerwasser, Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und kulinarischer Versorgung begrüßt. Die Menschen vor Ort waren auffallend freundlich. Die nahe kleine Altstadt nutzten die Frauen ausgiebig zum Shoppen. Der Urlaubsort konnte kaum besser gewählt werden. An den 3 Tagen, an denen wir keinen Sonnenschein hatten, sind wir an die Südküste gefahren und haben hier tolle Tage verbracht. Natürlich haben wir uns auch einige Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Knossos oder die Städte Heraklion, Chania und das ganz in der Nähe liegende Rethymno angesehen. Speziell die Altstadt von Rethymno mit ihren kleinen Gassen, dem Hafen mit den vielen Fischgaststätten hatte es uns angetan. Wir können unsere Ferienwohnung in Panormos nur weiterempfehlen und werden auf alle Fälle gern wiederkommen. Wir hatten wirklich 14 tolle Tage Urlaub! Nochmals vielen Dank an die Verwalterin, Frau Valia –super Kommunikation!- und natürlich an die Eigentümerin Frau Lili. Empfehlung: UNBEDINGT SELBST ERLEBEN !!!

Amazing sunsets & beautiful location

A lovely apartment situated about a 15 minute walk into the village of Panormo where you will find lots of tavernas, 2 supermarkets, a butchers, bakers & lots of little souvenir shops. A really nice little place. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you would need. The pool is lovely & well maintained. The garden area to the front of the house is fab for little children. Mrs Lili (the owner) lives downstairs and is very friendly. My only area for improvement would be around cleaning, we only received one clean & sheet/towel change during our 2 week stay. I'm sure if we spoke to Mrs Lili we would have got a 2nd clean but we ended up just doing it ourselves. For UK visitors please note their are no UK channels on the cable TV. Apart from those 2 minor things, a fabulous holiday was had by all. Would definitely recommend.
