  • LOCATION! This historic Downtown Mystic gem has just been completely renovated top to bottom, inside & out in 2023! New furniture and linens too! Enjoy a lemonade on the front porch & watch the world go by on a Summer night or wine by the fire on a chilly one. Park your cars in the driveway and walk to amazing restaurants and wonderful downtown attractions in 2-5 mins! For water enthusiasts public dock, boat ramp, transient dockage, and kayak & paddle board rentals are all across the street. Concerts, boat tours , art fairs ,seaport & aquarium all so close! Enjoy 2 wonderful beaches; Esker Point and Williams are 2.3 miles in each direction. Award winning Sift bakery is 1/3 of a mile away! Capt. Daniel Packer is across the street just .13 of a mile! Central AC & heat, large eat-in kitchen and dining room that seats 10. Beds are pillowtop with crisp cotton linens, recliners, flat-screen TV's in bedrooms, plush towels & a well stocked kitchen make this your home away from home in Mystic!

The home was perfect for our family visit during parents weekend with our cadet at the Coast Guard Academy. Great location with easy access to downtown Mystic, clean, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay agin in the future.

Mia and Jon's property was great for a Thanksgiving trip to visit family nearby. It was very clean with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and stocked with great hand soaps and mini toiletries. It was an easy walk to Mystic Pizza, Sift bake shop, shopping and the drawbridge. We enjoyed our stay and Mia thoughtfully added decorative touches to the home for our Thanksgiving celebration. We hope to be back soon.

The Secret Mermaid was a hit with my family. They all want to stay again when we visit my sister and her family in Noank. We were able to walk into Mystic easily. Comfortable beds, easy kitchen to work in, beautifully appointed bathrooms with fluffy towels, great dining room for 10 and lovely living room with a great fireplace.

Another great stay

This is our second year and it was as good as the first. Jon and Mia are great hosts, always responsive and want to make the best of your stay. This property has all you need and is so close to great restaurants, downtown shops and the Seaport Museum. Will stay again!

Great family stay!

I highly recommend to stay in the secret mermaid, great location, walking distance to Mystic restaurants, shops and museums. The house was perfect. And the hosts are just amazing. We had a wonderful family time!

We had the absolute best time at Mia and Jon's place! It was so beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located. It has everything we needed for our baby and toddler. Mia and Jon also left some really thoughtful touches and were great communicators. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect house, perfect location

My family and I had a great time at the Secret Mermaid house. It’s so clean, cozy, and spacious. The location is perfect. The fireplace was the star this weekend.

Family Time

The house was perfect we had a family reunion for a celebration of life.The weather was chilly. We went to Mystic walked around the shops and went to the aquarium.

Very nice and clean home and convenient to downtown Mystic, which is awesome

We had an excellent stay home was very very clean and convenient to downtown Mystic. Just please know that if you have an elderly person that the bedrooms are all upstairs. House is totally stocked with everything else you’ll ever need and we certainly appreciate that as well.

Fantastic Thoughtful Family Stay

We had a great stay at the Secret Mermaid. The space was so well thought out and meticulously set up for everyone in our group. We had a 4yo and 1yo with us and the girls were so excited about the bunk bed room and all the books and stuffed animals in the house. There were games and beach supplies, fully stocked with kitchen supplies for adults and kids. I can't recommend this spot enough!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. We were traveling with a 1 1/2 year old and a four month old and the hosts were so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay! Perfect location. We could not have imagined a better place to stay!!!

Wonderful family time and so close to downtown

Everything you see is what you get and we appreciated the little touches. Just about all you need is already there and just a quick walk into downtown. Perfect location, loved the decor and perfect space for our family. Look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful house and location!

This place was perfect for our girls college reunion trip! The house was beautiful with no detail missed, the fore place was great for At night to watch movies in the living room. The porches were great for morning coffees. The location to all things downtown in Mystic was just wonderful. We look for was Ed to coming back again!
