Great staycation

Very nice and clean place with everything you need. We enjoyed our time and there is a nice patio to watch the sunrise in the morning

Perfect place!

The stay here was amazing! Peaceful, clean, tranquil, and excellent place for a get away! Parking couldn’t be better! And communication was point on! Very quick response. Family friendly, having limited toys available for young children, but enough to keep them busy, and the owners sanitize everything for you! I would definitely come back.

Perfection!

The Green House was the perfect place to stay while exploring all of the beauty of the south part of the big island. From the view, to the location, to a very well appointed kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and rooms, the apartment was fantastic. The owners thought of every detail to ensure we had a lovely stay, provided a lot of great information about the area, answered questions and responded very quickly.

There was air conditioning but the positions of the windows and the night breeze made it unnecessary to use it. Had all the necessary kitchen stuff to prepare meals. Very easy to check in. Ruth was very quick to respond when we accidentally flipped the breaker. This place is kid friendly and safe as the glass table had protectors on the corners for the toddler. Well worth it!!

Amazing!

Perfect for our family of 5. Spacious with the feeling of home. All the amenities we could ask for including a massage chair. Host had snacks and waters available as well as beach items for use. Host was super helpful with info and easy to communicate woth.

This property and the host, Ruth, is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The location is rural, which is a plus for us. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The place is immaculate, so comfortable and she’s thought of everything to make our stay feel special. Its location to the green sand and black sand beaches, in addition to the national park and mountain cannot be beat. We loved it.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed in this property and it was just as exceptional as the first time The owner goes so above and beyond to provide an amazing experience and this is witnessed through the communication, assistance and amenities. Highly recommend and will be back!

Quiet Comfort

What a gem. Very relaxing, a quiet comfortable stay. The location served as a great place for us to see multiple sites. We booked seemingly last minute and we were able to secure this property, and we were so lucky that we did. We would highly recommend.

Ruth and Todd are wonderful hosts! The apartment was super clean and well maintained. They have pretty much everything you need to stay there. Lots of small details showed they care about their guests and the island. Beautiful morning and evening views from the house. We had a wonderful stay there!

Great spot!

Ruth was the best host! Quick to give travel and trip tips to us and welcoming and quick responses. We had all we needed including extras in the house for us to use while there. Would def choose again-perfect for exploring the south of the island-hiking to green sand beach and visiting the national park.

Haven of rest!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental! Ruth was helpful & available in ways that went so above & beyond. I arrived in the dark so had no idea the beautiful view that was awaiting the next morning! Spectacular! Great location with easy access, beautiful inside and out & had everything needed. Thank you for an incredible home away from home!

Fantastic stay!

We wanted to be close to South Point and the green sand beach for a change his time on Hawaii, and this turned out to be the ideal staging location for seeing sights on the south side of the island. The listing was exactly as described, spotless clean, well appointed, and the owner provided a number of complimentary products. We felt like it could be our home. We would definitely book again if we wanted a location on the south side of the island!

Great little spot!

We found the place because it was close to the venue of a wedding we were attending. It was super cute and spacious. We stayed with 3 kids and the beach chairs/toys were lovely to have. Everything at the property was well labeled and little bonus snacks and extra sunscreen was great. The property owner lives upstairs and is super responsive with any question or concern. She even sent us a little note when a large rainbow appeared over the ocean one day!

Perfect Hawi experience

The house and location were spectacular! It was comfortable, very spacious for 2 people. We felt we never had to leave. My husband spent hours sitting on the porch with an occasional stroll to visit the animals on the property. Each night we had dinner and cocktails on the porch watching the sunset. This is an unsoiled area of the big island and a nice break from the resorts in Kona.

If I could, I'd give "Aloha Green House" more than five stars. My favorite part of my stay was watching the sun rise over the ocean from the porch facing south and east. The home was comfortable, tastefully furnished, and immaculately clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything a family might need. I was incredibly grateful for the efficient washer and dryer with laundry supplies. We are planning to stay again.

A wonderful space in which to relax!

Aloha Green House was a wonderful place in which to retreat! The space was very clean and spacious. The home, appliances, decor and beds were new and very comfortable. It had all the necessities for our stay while feeling very much at home. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer! Located on the southern side of the big island gave us easy access to South Point, Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, Green Sand Beach and Volcano National Park! We’ll worth checking out!

Amazing!

We had a great 11 night stay! The house is spacious, open, modern with a “new” feel. The grounds and scenery are lovely. The hosts are friendly and go out of their way to meet any needs. Very responsive! When we needed to add a couple extra days Ruth was right on it and made it happen! They are ecology minded without being critical. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and relaxing

I'd give >5 stars if permitted. My favorite part of the stay was watching spectacular sunrises over the ocean from this home's patio. The house was lovely and comfortable, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped. I greatly appreciated the laundry room which contained an efficient washer and dryer. Our hosts were friendly and gracious. We plan to return.

Beautiful and clean rental

My family of 5 loved staying here at this clean and welcoming rental. 3 kids ranged from 12-19. Nice updated bathroom, clear labelling of all cabinets and drawers helped to navigate the kitchen. Property was super nice and clean. With two teenage kids and five people, it was harder to have only one bathroom, so just something to keep in mind if you have big kids who need more time in the bathroom. Place was accurately described, host was warm and communicated well. There were snacks and water bottles, and some aloha treats! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Beyond our expectations!

We absolutely loved our stay in this 2 bed / 1 (gorgeous) bath unit in Discovery Harbour. Some of the highlights for us: - Split bedroom floor plan was a nice buffer between the kids’ room; we’re “old” and go to sleep earlier than our knuckleheads - “Kitchenette ” had everything we needed since we didn’t plan on any major cooking - Guest laundry was a nice surprise (maybe I missed that in the description) - Outdoor shower worked well for rinsing off snorkeling gear - Views from the windward side of the lanai are great Overall, the location worked well for us as a starting point for all of our adventures on the south side of Big Island. The unit is just what we were seeking and plan to stay again next year. 🤙🏻
