We've stayed at a LOT of VRBO's and have always been delighted that everything we needed was provided. And we didn't have to think about anything because it was all done, just like a hotel provides all the . We never once had to pack kitchen products & toilet paper. And I've never had to make the bed myself or undress the bed afterwards. All of that does not equal a vacation. It felt more like summer camp as a teen in a cheap camp.
Same goes with the beach gear & beach towels. It was always provided in all other locals.
It just isn't feasible to pack all the essentials that you didn't provide, and still have room in the suitcase for clothing.
You didn't even provide a little bar of soap in the bathrooms to wash our dirty hands upon arrival, so we had to use dish liquid that we brought, to wash our hands.
ALL other VRBO's we've stayed in provided shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap and dish liquid, plus plenty of TP, just like hotels do.
The bath towels you provided must have been the cheapest you could find. There wasn't a proper floor mat in the bathroom so all I kept thinking was that I was probably drying my face & hands with a towel that had been used on the floor previously.
We had to make lots of visits to the dollar tree to purchase those necessities which cut into vacation time. As did dressing beds and undressing beds and having to clean things that your maid service should have been cleaning, since the cleaning fee was included already.
