This is by far the best B&B experience we have had. Debbie and Darwin knocked it out of the park! We came as guests and left as friends. Amenities were amazing and hospitality gracious and generous! Top rated!

Excellent room. The hosts were very friendly and treated us to such wonderful hospitality. The view from the hill is quite beautiful. It made for a lovely breakfast. This is a great place for a weekend getaway.

Great B&B

We stayed at the Hillcrest Ave. B&B overnight en route to Victoria and are happy we did. The place is immaculate and the hosts very personable and engaging. The view is great, the room is comfortable, and the breakfast is first rate. The parking is convenient as is the wifi. We have no hesitation recommending the Hillcrest B&B.

Een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. Aardige en behulpzame mensen, veel persoonlijke aandacht. Mooie woonruimte voor ons samen, heel erg ruim. Leuke winkels in de buurt. Gewoon een neel fijn verblijf.

We stayed for two nights. The breakfasts were delicious - fresh ingredients, healthy and plentiful! We fell asleep easily in the super comfortable bed. The only suggestion I would make for the room is to add a mirror, perhaps replace the corner shelf with a vanity dressing table with mirror? That would help with the shared bathroom when there are other guests. Debbie and Darwin are relaxed yet attentive hosts.

Debbie and Darwin were very thoughtful and kind hosts. The facilities were squeaky clean and very comfortable. Deb and Darwin were both very knowledgeable about places of interest we would find interesting and knew all the best places to eat. We enjoyed sharing our experiences with them over a glass of wine at the end of each day, and Debbie would have to be dubbed the “map queen of Vancouver Island”. If you needed to go anywhere - Deb had a map for it and could show the exact route to take - it was terrific. We would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

Staying at Hillcrest Ave. B&B was a welcoming experience. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating. They made us feel at home. The breakfasts were amazing. their gardens beautiful and room very comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat.

Debbie and Darwin are amazing and genuinely kind people. They have been running their B&B for over 7 years and I can't figure out how they can keep the house looking like they just moved in. Our lower level suite was literally spotless. They have a great view from the dining room where Debbie serves a delicious FULL breakfast. They are 4.5 km (3 miles) from downtown Ladysmith so you'll need a car. Ther is a shopping center 1.4 km (0.9 miles) away. You can't go wrong at this place. We loved it.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht eine Wohl fühl Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Das Frühstück über trifft bei Weitem kanadischen Standard. Der fast immerwährende Ausblick auf die Rockies ist atemberaubend. Ein Plausch auf der Terrasse rundet den erlebnisreichen Tag ab.
