3 habitaciones, 2 1/2 baños, casa 1 1/2 cuadras de la calle principal, a una cuadra del puerto.

Disfrutarás de esta casa de 1750, a solo una cuadra y media de los adoquines de la calle principal. Muy acogedor para una familia pequeña! La casa está bien equipada con electrodomésticos, lavadora / secadora, aire central, TV de pantalla plana grande, ducha exterior con dos cabezales de ducha y una sala de ping pong en la parte trasera. ¡Acabamos de terminar de renovar! Tiene un espacio de estacionamiento (aunque sentimos que no es necesario traer un automóvil) y también tenemos un jeep eléctrico opcional. La casa se encuentra entre el Handlebar Cafe (cafetería con excelentes magdalenas de canela) y la Asociación de Artistas de Nantucket. Todo lo que puedas esperar; tiendas, restaurantes, supermercados, cafeterías se encuentran a un paseo muy corto y encantador (1 minuto).

¡Vive a muy poca distancia a pie de la ciudad y el puerto de Nantucket!: Acabamos de instalar un nuevo mostrador de cocina con fregadero de granja y piso nuevo este otoño. Tenga en cuenta que las tres chimeneas se ven geniales con velas en ellas ... Pero no funcionan para incendios. La mayoría de los pisos son de pino antiguo.

Oh perfect location quick walk to the lemon press lots of nearby shops easy to carry back all the purchases quick and reload again ! Would highly recommend it if we went back tomorrow, we would say at the same place !

Awesome week at this cute antique home with lots of character. Location is incredible, just a block to Main St, the ferry, and tons of restaurants and shops. The host extremely nice and responsive to questions. Home is very clean with all the amenities you will need. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

The house location was convenient. However, the situation with the upstairs bathroom serving as the hall to access all three bedrooms was very inconvenient. When you came up the stairs from the dining room, the bunk bed room was on the left. The door to the bathroom opened right there onto the stairs. You walk halfway through the bathroom to get to the queen bedroom on the left and all the way through the bathroom to get to the king bedroom. So, the bathroom had three doors to close if you wanted privacy!!! And, they all did not lock! So, you should be very comfortable with the people you are sharing the house with, particularly if all adults. There was another set of stairs off the king bedroom that took you to the front of the house (the queen bedroom also opened onto these stairs). Due to the age of the house, those wooden stairs were very loud and creaky. The downstairs bathroom where the stack washer and dryer was located had a tub that should have had a grab bar or tub mat for safety when showering because it is very slick. Finally, the outside grill did not work. So, for these reasons I rated the house three out of five stars.

Perfect location and home

You truly cannot get a better location. It is right downtown and within walking distance to just about everything you need. We stayed with our family including two kids and had the easiest time getting to and from activities. One suggestion- if you are coming with little kid who are staying in the bunk bed room I would suggest reserving a baby gate for the back staircase as it is right outside of their room- definitely helped ease my mind about late night bathroom trips. Sam and Kerstin were also the best hosts- super communicative and sweet. Will absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Nantucket!

Wonderful stay in the center of Nantucket

We had family visiting from Australia and wanted to show them why we loved Nantucket - this property was the perfect base to do so.Well located and appointed cottage with plenty of space to relax. The property is well appointed for all you need during your stay.The hosts Sam and Kerstin had good communication and check in (and departure) was very straight forward. Would definitely recommend!!

Off Season Visit

My family stayed this past weekend and had a fantastic time. The home is so unique and in a great location in town. The restaurant/cafe suggestions were perfect and easy to get to being right in the heart of town. The Wave transportation bus station was right across the street making it easy to get all around the island for free!! We can’t wait to come back!

Magical island

This house has everything you need to enjoy a beautiful stay on the island. It is close to everything and super well taken care of. Can’t wait to meet family in Nantucket again soon and we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Off-Season Stay

We had a terrific week! The house was exactly as described and pictured, but we were also pleasantly surprised it was bigger than we thought. It was very centrally located and an easy walk to everything, even in damp, cold weather! The kitchen had everything we could need for a week (I loved the Nantucket coffee mugs). The layout worked well for us. The combination of the front and back stairs made privacy feasible, especially with 2.5 bathrooms. We loved the two living areas, which meant we could separate reading from television watching. The coffee shop next door was closed, but we were able to donate to the “Little Library,” also a nice touch. I can’t say enough good things about this historic house, from the overall restoration to the location to the small details.

Nantucket Holiday weekend

Beautiful little historic home with all the modern conveniences. House was tastefully decorated, very clean, and close to everything. We slept great both nights and enjoyed our evenings by the cozy electric fireplaces watching TV. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property, with caveats

This is a charming old house and the location is very convenient; all of the shops and restaurants in "town" are a quick walk away. The buildings next door are a coffeeshop on one side and an art gallery on the other, which we enjoyed. Two issues worth mentioning. First, there is absolutely no sound insulation, internal or external. You will hear every footstep and conversation in the house, and every vehicle that drives by. The house is on a street that is a surprisingly busy corridor for buses, garbage trucks, and 18-wheelers, so the noise is constant. Next, the bathroom situation is pretty awkward. All three bedrooms are upstairs, along with one full bath. The issue is that all of the bedrooms have doors that open directly onto the bathroom. The hallway is also the bathroom, in other words. You will only want to rent this property with a group you are super-comfortable with. Overall it's a lovely little house, and I know it's a struggle to maintain the original charm when remodeling and modernizing older homes; I hope the owners are planning some strategic improvements and I wish them luck.

Washington Street Cottage

Stayed here with teen and pre teen kids. The location is Amazing. Steps away from Wave buses for easy commute to beaches. Literally next door to Handle Bar Coffee Bar. Beds were extremely comfortable and house is charming and decorated perfectly fir a Nantucket beach cottage. Would highly recommend!

Great stay in town!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was the perfect location and very close to town. It was also pretty quiet at night compared to other spots in town we have stayed at over the years. Sam was very responsive and accommodating to our requests and questions. It was cool to stay in such a historic house. Everything was very clean. It was more than enough room for our group of 3 adults and 1 kid, with lots of extra space. The bedrooms are all a great size. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to cook. Overall, it is nicely maintained and updated. The upstairs tub could use updating. At first, the upstairs bathroom seemed a little awkward since it connected two of the bedrooms for access to the back staircase, limiting use of the back stairs if someone was in that bathroom. We made a plan to let everyone know if someone was in that bathroom, with the middle bedroom using the "secret" closet connecting to the bunk room for access to the back stairs. Of course the front stairs give normal access to the downstairs for those two bedrooms so not a big deal at all, but just to mention. It's an old house, so part of the layout. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
