“What a beautiful and well maintained property in a great area. We took a train to Rome to see some of the famous sights, chilled out by the the pool and soaked up the wonderful local towns rich in history and excellent restaurants.”

“Nous avons été accueillis par les hôtes les plus charmants qu’ils soient dans une maison très calme avec une très belle vie et une grande piscine. Tout était impeccable. La maison est une bonne base arrière pour visiter la région d’Orvieto, le nord du Latium, l’ouest de l’Ombrie et le sud de la Toscane. Pour info, il y avait 3 chats (très sympas !). Nous recommandons chaleureusement. ”

“Beautiful courtyards and property. Need a car. Living space/kitchen not big enough for 8 adults. We ate two lovely meals at the little restaurant. Kitchen could be better equipped as not enough glasses etc. Great staff very helpful”

“i spent 3 weeks in the property, and all i can say is how fantastic it was, everything from the location, to the way that i was welcomed by Alberto and Karen. They both were so helpful and informative of the area,and really made my stay a pleasure. Although they live on site it really did not impact my privacy as they were both so cautious not to impact the holiday. However when invited for an aperitivo we spent some hours discussing multiple topics and they both were an absolute joy to have...

“Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Herrenhaus. Der Pool ist großartig, der Blick atemberaubend und die Ausstattung ist super. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 14 Personen plus zwei Kinder. Jeder hatte sein eigenes Schlafzimmer inkl. Bad. Die Bäder sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leider riecht es etwas aus dem Abfluss. Das Haus an sich ist sehr alt und das Leitungswasser nicht trinkbar. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. ”

It was very centrally located for day trips and we were available to explore the Umbria region which was also wonderful and better than we expected. “We were two families and we had the most wonderful week at Mario’s beautiful house. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool is amazing, the house is perfect and rustic. The views of the surrounding area are incredible. The house is on the top of a hill and the road up is very steep. So many things to do nearby, Bagnoregio Civita, Bolsena, Sacro Bosco, cascata Marmore. We had such a great week. Mario was a great host. ”

“Really lovely rustic property - location is excellent, only an hour drive from the airport yet so peaceful. The pool was absolutely amazing and cleaned daily by the owner so it was loved by all members of the family (even the 5 month old). Would really recommend for family’s looking for a getaway.”

“We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location”
