The Space:

The Orchard View by Tiny Away is a tiny house located in Nashdale, just a 7-minute drive from the city of Orange in the Central Tablelands region, and about 3 hours from Sydney. The tiny house stays shaded during summer and offers open spaces for guests to explore the farm. An outdoor dining area and fire pit are also available to keep warm during winter.



If you’re staying for a while, you can explore nearby attractions like De Salis Winery, Federal Falls, Heifer Station Wines, Mount Canobolas, and the Orange Botanical Gardens.



This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home features a fire pit and BBQ, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette equipped for cooking, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny home. The main shed, however, is only accessible during apple harvest season (February to May).



The Neighborhood:

The Orchard View by Tiny Away is located in Nashdale, just a 7-minute drive from Orange in the Central Tablelands region and about 3 hours from Sydney. The tiny house is close to sightseeing spots, including De Salis Winery, Federal Falls—a hiking trail that leads to a waterfall—and Heifer Station Wines, known for its vintage farm setting.



For nature lovers, Mount Canobolas has stunning hiking trails from easy to intermediate levels. Cook Park offers a beautiful rose garden and a fun area for kids. At the Orange Botanical Gardens, you can explore diverse plants, and Lake Canobolas offers a lovely setting for swimming and kids’ activities.



Getting Around:

By car:

- From Sydney, 3.5hrs drive, 300kms to Orange. Orange 10 minute drive, 10km from The Orchard View.



By Public Transport:

- One train station in Orange. From there a taxi service is the only way to get to The Orchard View.

- Wi-Fi is not available

- BBQ is not unavailable

- Potable water is available

- A projector for the wall to watch outdoor movies is available to use upon request.

- No smoking allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Laundry (Washer) is available in the common area

- Outdoor fire pits are available, except during total fire bans

- Please ensure the fire pit is fully extinguished before departure

- Telstra and Optus offer strong signal coverage, while Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark are weak

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Pets are allowed with 24 hrs' notice and must be kept on a leash at all times. The full pet policy will be sent before arrival.

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
