We were very pleased with the property and enjoyed our stay. There could have been some more comfortable seating in the living room for when we were all there in the evenings. I would not hesitate to rent the property again.

Great spot, very convenient

My favorite part was how fully equipped the place was. It had paper towels, trash bags and even beach towels and beach chairs. Location was excellent and the house was very fun for 4 kids 8 and under. Would definitely rent again. Just one watch out for anyone who rents, the floors are VERY slippery when wet. We had a lot of spills in the house and had to clean up immediately after anything wet got on the ground.

Super Cool Place!!

What a cool place! Everything you need and basically brand spankin new!! Loved the games in the garage and nice touch to have fridge down there for drinks etc too. Comfy beds and very very clean property. Sit in the rooftop and watch boats cruise Old Hickory. Wander down to the marina for food and drinks. Nice escape from all the insanity of Lower Broadway but a short drive when you wanna party or hit up Opryland etc. Would definitely rent again!

Great location for lake and golf

Stayed here with family for a golf tournament at The Hermitage. Great location. House was clean. Good communication with owner. Restaurant at marina is great!

Nice location for a group

In town for a wedding. Nice central location and plenty of space. The walking distance to the water (restaurant/bar) was ideal given we had a large group (3 on the units). Everyone had a good time.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this property. The property management team was super easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The check-in/check-out process was simple! I would definitely stay here again!

Clean and very responsive property manager

I struggled with this review. On the one hand, we couldn't get in until 4.5 hours after check in time because cleaners never showed after previous guests. But they very quickly waived the cleaning fee. The property seems newer, but while we were there the disposal broke and the washer went glitchy. But again, the manager was super responsive. I just think these are not very well built homes -- and that's not the owner's fault (unless they built them!). Who puts a clear window in a shower right at chest level (and no window coverings), looking right out over buildings behind it? Hello, neighbor! The kitchen isn't very well-equipped but some VRBOs are like that (though I've never stayed at one that didn't even have coffee, but that could mean I've just been lucky in the past), and the garage is a hassle because we could only open from inside. Aside from the late check-in these all sound like nits, and they are -- but we got off to a rough start and then the nits added up. If this house were software, I'd say it's kludgy, and though I wouldn't stay here again I can see how it would be totally fine for others just looking for a clean spot on the lake. And I just need to say again that the property manager was terrific -- I would NOT want her job, especially scrambling to find help on a holiday: thank YOU!

We would stay here again, for sure!

This place was beautiful and very clean. The neighborhood felt safe, and we had a keyless entry pad that was easy to use. We had 4-5 vehicles and were able to park on the next street over every time and feel safe walking the very short distance back to the property. It was a nice surprise to find that there is a beautiful restaurant and bar on the water right next door too. The place was spacious, and we were able to control the temperature on every floor it seemed. The only thing is we had our grandparents with us (late 70’s) and there were a lot of stairs. We gave them the bedroom on the second floor with the kitchen which worked fine but if you have someone elderly or disabled it is a little challenging getting up the stairs. They do have sturdy railings! This place has an awesome game room in the garage area and was very close to all of our destinations (like downtown Nashville). The property management was very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Old Hickory Lake

Overall it was great - just some minor points of feedback. 1. The shower window on the Main floor needs a curtain or something and the water pressure in that bathroom wasn’t great. 2. There wasn’t a corkscrew which seemed like a basic staple to have in the kitchen. 3. The main sitting area would benefit from a coffee table and maybe another chair to sit in. The marina restaurant worked out well for a couple of dinners and the the area was great for an early morning walk. Downtown Nashville was close enough for a visit but we also felt like we were far enough away to feel secluded.
