Excelente lugar para hospedarse, cerca del centro de la ciudad, muy privado y con muchas comodidades.

¡Salt Creek Farmhouse es una casa de campo restaurada clásica de 1920, con 56 acres y todas las comodidades modernas! Conduzca durante 10 minutos a Nashville, camine por nuestro sendero, ase a la parrilla o relájese en el porche o alrededor del fogón. Tiene capacidad para seis personas; dos habitaciones, cada una con una cama de matrimonio y un sofá cama de tamaño completo en la sala de estar. Se proporcionan toallas, paños, sábanas, almohadas, mantas, café, hielo, etc. Los perros tienen un costo adicional de $ 25 por noche y deben ser aprobados por la gerencia con anticipación.

This is a beautiful property with lovely walking trails and very pet friendly. It's a rural farmhouse setting, and if you're lucky enough to have clear nighttime skies, the display of stars will be amazing. For us, the highlight of our trip was the kindness and graciousness of our host, Ken, who was accommodating to special needs in too many ways to enumerate and who went out of his way to help us in what turned out to be a time of crisis. I can't say enough about how kind he was but we would happily happily rent from him again.

Love the location and the era of the house.

A lovely home! We enjoyed the serenity and the beautiful home! It was very comfortable! We were disappointed that it isn’t a 3 bedroom house. It’s actually a 2 bedroom with a hideaway couch in the family room. Also, there is no hot tub as noted, it’s a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The cleanliness was lacking. Spider webs with their owners were in the corners of the downstairs bedroom. There was dust on all the furniture and baseboards.

Awesome property

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed the trail and my husband had a great time fishing! Brown County State Park is close and a must see there was also loads going on in town! The guest book with background on the property is a nice touch.

One word - RELAXING

My dog, Penny and I had a relaxing stay. The trails on the property were perfect for morning and evening walks. The large jetted bathtub was a great way to knock the dust off and wind down at the end of the day. The location is far enough out of town to be restful but close enough to everything I wanted to do. I would rent again.

Peaceful Get-a-way

Very comfortable restored farmhouse. Well equipped and well maintained. Secluded but not isolated. The walking trails throughout the property were outstanding, with scenic views of Salt Creek. Owner Ken is very responsive.

Nice property away from town. Enjoyed TC Steele home, Farmhouse Cafe, Nashville and the state park. Home and property had charm. We enjoyed learning the history of the farm. Furniture and mattresses are well loved and need an update.

Saltcreek Farm

Secluded Farm close to Nashville Indiana, there was no access whatsoever to the outbuildings highlighted in the listing . Property was clean and well equipped . There is no cable only internet streaming.

Charming historic farmhouse

We struggle with how to rate this property. On one hand this is a charming 100 year old farmhouse that we found upon arrival to be immaculately clean inside and out. The history of the property was very interesting and we enjoyed exploring the exterior buildings and grounds. The problem is the house sits very close to a two lane road. We found the daytime traffic ruined our ability to relax on the neat wrap around porch after our day of hiking and exploring BC. The traffic did settle down after 8-9 pm week days. Maybe this bothered us more than it would other people but we feel it’s worth mentioning. There were a couple other things that come with a home of this age but as stated it’s obvious there is pride in ownership here.

Perfect for our needs

Cute little place for a few mountain bikers to stay for a long weekend. Place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in showers. Not for from town. Really quiet!

We had a wonderful time at the farm. If you are looking for a country getaway this is it! Easy check in, nicely kept house, and property to walk on for acres. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back!

Great location to visit Nashville

We enjoyed our stay at Salt Creek. The property was cute. Unfortunately, it was a little too cool to sit outside on the great porch. It is very close to Brown County State Park and to Nashville. Messages that I sent to Ken received a very prompt response.

A Pleasant Experience

This property is reasonably close to the state park and downtown Nashville. Moreover, the property itself is enjoyable with its own creek and nature trail. Our only disappointment was that this property is listed as having three bedrooms; it does not. It does have three sleeping spaces, but one is a living room (this is mentioned in the longer description but not in the main advertising). We still enjoyed the stay, but the guest who ended up sleeping on the couch maybe enjoyed it a little less.
