Our stay with this host gave us one of the worst customer service experiences to date. I do hope potential customers will take the time to read. After some effort to plead our case, Vrbo credited their fee back to fill the gap left by the terrible policy & lack of care of the host.
At 11:15 pm the night we checked in that no sheets had been changed. They were full of hair, crumbs & stains. The floors appeared to not have been vacuumed and several kitchen utensils were crusty with food. We were given the option: stay & sleep in dirty sheets or find another hotel at 12:30 a.m. We got a cab to a hotel and returned after noon the following day to find the cleaners still there, though we were told they’d be gone by noon. Our door was open and as I walked in one of the cleaners was speaking to the other cleaner, “Lets finish this so we can get the *expletive* out of here.”
Good Night Stay (the host) offered to pay for the night away, but would not reimburse us for the first night we left due to nasty sheets. They did credit the cleaning fee (it was not cleaned). After a week of ghosting us, we were reimbursed for the other (cheaper) hotel room (not comparable accommodations), BUT have been stuck paying for the dirty, more expensive room we could not stay in. Run from this host. The photos look nice, but that’s the only nice thing I can say about the apartment. It was so bad, we had to leave AND STILL HAD TO PAY. Don’t let that happen to you. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
