Very hospitable and friendly staff! A bit of a walk to downtown but you can easily take a taxi by downloading “aquarides” or taking the local bus (which is cheap). The area itself isn’t the best but no one gave us any problems. The restaurant upstairs had reasonably priced food and it tasted yummy.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was so friendly and kind. The food was sooo good and fresh. It was nice to have real home cooked meals. I felt safe, happy, and there’s even a place to play pool and buy drinks. It was a nice stay and a 15 minute walk frown all of the shops.

Yes! I would recommend you to book it, I stayed for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and welcoming! The room was clean. I honestly would book again.

Taxi driver told me not the best location but was OK for overnight waiting on connecting flight. Hotel and staff were really great, very friendly and helpful. Would have liked a chair in my room but other than that it was really good

The room condition typically ok. There is a re-painting in progress on lobby so the room has a strong paint smell. Not recommended to book recently. In future may ok.

The rooms were great for the price point. Most importantly Carmen in the kitchen and the driver Henry were the most kind gracious people we have had the pleasure to meet. They make you feel like family important and always up for advice and ideas. They both elevated our stay from good to amazing.

I want to say a Big Thank you to the whole staff especially to Clarice who was a pure GEM and also to Carmen and Alia who were wonderful. They all always did the maximum for my stay to be enjoyable and also to me as a client. They were always available for any questions, assistance and guidance for my stay to be enjoyable as possible. I found a family with every staff member. Sure thing, I will rebook with them next time I go to visit the bahamas. THANK YOU 😊 🙏 ❤️🇧🇸

Witten on May, 23, 2026. I’ll start this review by saying that I felt supervised, controlled very uncomfortable & on top of that watched. Sandra is the host she had mentioned to me that she wouldn't charge me for using the air conditioning in the room that it would be free which I thought was very kind of her. However, when I arrived at the tiny, very tiny house it was incredibly hot. I turned on the AC while I went to grab a bite to eat, as I had just landed. While I was eating & watching the sunset on the beach, I received an email from her reminding me that the AC was "free," but that I had to turn it off whenever I left the premises. Upon returning to the room, I realized that the AC had been turned off & the fans turned on, which meant that Sandra had entered my room without consulting me (Sandra & another tenant live in the same house) I left the place immediately because I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. It was a terrible experience; she charged me for the night & the "cleaning fees" ($140+) even though I didn't touch a single thing. The beach is far away & you can't even swim there because the ocean is very rough in that area. The restaurant is part of a club & the food is bad and expensive. To enjoy the swimming pool that Sandra features in her photos, you have to pay a $50 entrance fee, as Sandra only grants you free access for one day. Do yourself a favor & book a real hotel you'll thank me later so you don't feel watched/harassed on you vacations
