Toledo Bend Log Cabin - brand new, Lakefront - watch sunsets across 3 miles

  • Enjoy your next trip to Toledo Bend in this awesome, brand new, built in 2018 log cabin. Toledo Bend Cabin is a 1,911sf lakefront cabin located on Skyline Drive just off Little Flock Road. This cabin is immediately south of Big Bass Marina and about 20 minutes (10 minutes by boat) south of Cypress Bend Resort. If you are familiar with Toledo Bend Lake, we are located at the Harper's Bend part of the lake. We have a huge entertainment deck with a grill and outdoor furniture so you can enjoy time with friends and family and watch beautiful sunsets. Just down the road is a free community boat launch. We have a boathouse in front of the cabin that you can moor your boat and access the property from the lake. This property is one of the most highly sought after properties on the lake.

    Why should you rent our cabin?

    1.) The sunsets are unbelievable. From the deck facing the lake or from the boathouse you will have a clear 3 mile view of the sunset .

    2.) It's located on the lakefront in deep water. No matter what the lake level is you don't have to worry about not having water. The main body of the lake is right in front of this cabin.

    3.) It has a boardwalk and a boathouse that allows you to go out over the water to enjoy beautiful sunsets and tie off your boat.

    4.) There is a free community boat launch about 1/2 mile from the cabin. Launch your boat without fees!

    This is a no pets allowed property.

    Trash policy:
    The cabin is located in a rural location where no trash service is available. We hope to eventually have a trash removal service in the future, but until then please help us out and take the trash with you.

Very nice and clean house. My sisters and I with our husbands, brought my dad for a relaxing weekend for his birthday. It was perfect!! We never left the house for the wknd. Host was very responsive there one time i had to contact him.

Perfect place of you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and fish!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! My husband, son-in-law, and grandson had a great time fishing, and my daughters, grandchildren, and I loved the quiet solitude of the property. The cabin was very clean, and it was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that could’ve made this property better is if there would be a covered dock. It Is my understanding, though, that the owner is planning on building one in the future. We will absolutely plan another trip there!

Could have been much better!

Visually the place is nice, and in a good location. Before checking in I was asked if they could cut the grass, they didnt need to go inside or anything, which was fine with us. After settling in , one of my friends starts yelling and has to run outside because the “host” was cutting “grass” on the gravel road facing all 3 of our trucks, maybe 20 feet away 😤! We then all make way to the boat dock, I look up at the house, the host gets off the lawnmower and he’s walking in for a minute wich he said he didn’t need to do! We only brought food to grill and had to disect the Pit and rig it just to work. One of the main reasons we booked this place is for the green lights on the dock which didn’t even work! Also we left with 5 bags of trash, but we accidentally overlooked a trash can infront which the host took care of, for a fee of $300 and the worst attitude!! Ive stayed at many places, but this one is at the bottom of my list for sure!

The cabin is great!!! The views of the lake are even better. The boat lift at the boat house was definitely a plus. I could lift my tritoon out of the water and not have to worry about storms creating waves and beating it up. Very relaxing place and the host was very accommodating. I'll be booking with him again in the future.

We had a great time at this cabin. The views were absolutely amazing. Matthew, the host, was great with communication. There was even toys upstairs for my 3 year old to play with which was an added bonus! We had an amazing and relaxing weekend. The covered pier with railings around it was so convenient and gave me peace of mind with my son. We will be visiting again!

I wanted i quiet get a way for thanksgiving , and that’s exactly what we got ! We had the most peaceful time here . The weather kept us inside most of the time but the awesome cabin was big enough to play games and had games of their own. Thanks for the amazing time in your cabin !

Get away

We had a great time at the lake. The scenery was very nice and it was a great time to wine down with family and friends. Rooms were very big and cozy. Upon arrival we replaced thermostat batteries on lower level and was very cold until we got the heat going. The place seemed clean, but coffee pot was dirty, grill and oven also. The only bed somewhat comfy was the lower level bed. The 2 upper level beds were not so comfy and also pillows were hard. I recommend bringing your own. Not much storage space in kitchen for your food. We kept ours in our totes. Our clothes stayed in suitcase due to lack of storage in rooms. The seller was attentive to get back with messages and concerns. When arriving the lower vent near staircase was broke. We should of took pictures and my husband fixed it, but it kept breaking. When using the dish rack I seen it was leaking all over counter so I put it away and did not use it the rest of the stay. It was broken when we got there according to seller. I recommend taking pictures of things that does not look right because they will replace with out hesitation. They say the keep record of things.

Great place to relax and fish!

The cabin is very nice and cozy. We love the layout of the cabin. You can see beautiful sunset from the porch. The grill outside is a plus. If you are a fishing family like us, the boat lift is awesome! The night time fishing is really cool. You can see all kinds of fish. We mainly came to relax and fish when we want and boy we did. We caught 23 crappie in day and a half not far from the camp. Not bad considering it’s the hottest month. Will come back again!

Nice cabin on the lake

Very nice cabin on the lake but very hard for us to get up and down steep hill (no steps or stairs) to and from dock, which was also very nice. Other than the forced cardio we had to do we had a great time.
