“Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey.”

“Booked fairly last minute, for a very good rate. The car park was easy to find, and plenty of spaces were available (even though accommodation fully booked out). Reception on arrival was excellent, and even tried to change our sleeping arrangements due to a change in our needs. Bar area has a "Happy Hour" 3pm - 6pm which was a rare find nowadays.
