  • Located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is a newly built 3 bedroom house, situated on Strouble Lake. Located 26 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge off Hiawatha Trail. 5 miles from the beaches of Lake Michigan, surrounded by state land on a paved road with ample parking space. This rental offers year round activities and fun. Snowmobiling, motorcycling, skiing, fishing and hunting right out the front door. Come relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of an inland lake, watch the beautiful sunsets from the covered 10x32 porch. Enjoy a fire in the outside fire pit. 3 spacious bedrooms, the bedroom located on the main floor is equipped with a queen size bed. One bedroom upstairs is equipped with a queen size bed and two twin beds, the other bedroom upstairs is equipped with queen size bed and one twin bed. 2 baths, one on each floor, one with shower and one with tub/shower. We also have WiFi. We are conveniently located between Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks. Great for Day Trips! Includes aluminum row boat and three kayaks to choose from. Very peaceful and relaxing setting with a great view of the the lake.

Awesome place! The location was perfect to see all the sights the U.P. has to offer! The lake is quiet and very peaceful. Our kids really enjoyed the kayaks and row boat. The cabin was clean and very comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

It would have got a five out of five but there was no dock. It was damaged in a storm. I hope it fixed for all the future guests. Also, there was one small TV. It wouldn’t hurt to up grade to a bigger one. We had a great time otherwise.

The stay was great, close to the trails, we did more riding then staying but the house accommodated all 9 off us great.

Great Family Getaway

The property was perfect for our family snowmobile trip. It is close to the trails and had plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers.

Great getaway!

Peaceful, remote location with lots of amenities to enjoy if you choose to. Central location is great for all the attractions in the East part of the UP.

We loved the layout of the house. This made a great base for day-trips. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake.

Great getaway and location for all the U.P. Highlights

Cozy home to getaway in. We hit Mackinac island, kitchitikipi, pictured rocks, and Tahquamenon falls… all 45 minutes to 1 hr 15min… Kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing during the down times… Perfect place for family memories…

UP Getaway

The location is very nice with lots of interesting sites to visit within a short drive. The mosquitoes were thick but I think that would have been the case anywhere this time of year. Overall, a nice cabin in the woods!

Family getaway with adult kids

The house on the lake was perfect for a family getaway. Adequate room for all of us and plenty of room outside for games and shenanigans. Plus, the location was great for day trips to Mackinaw City, Pictured Rock and Lake Michigan beaches. The Oswald Zoo was a surprising experience for the breadth of animals they had. Had a great time!

Perfect

It was a great experience. I absolutely loved the view it was amazing. The lake was great for canoeing and kayaking. It was perfect for fishing. They house was spacious and cozy. It was our best trip yet. 10 out of 10 would recommend or stay again.

Very nice cottage, on a Quiet lake! Its in a Central location, to view all the tourist stops. We followed my vehicles map, and entered the property from a two track trail that was interesting, as it was getting dark! It was too cool to use the boats, but it was nice that they were available! Plan on driving a distance to get groceries, AND check the expiration dates on purchased food! I Highly recommend this property!

Great place for a large family

We were doing a quick weekend trip to do some basic UP sight seeing & the location was perfect to go everywhere we wanted to go. We are a family of 6 and we had more than enough room. The kids enjoyed the lake so much! My favorite part was how peaceful and relaxing the house was. I would love to go back in the future.

This property is absolutely stunning. Remote, peaceful, and full of beauty. The perfect U.P. experience. Easy drive to Tahquanamon Falls and the Lake shoreline for the perfect sunset. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The house was clean and communication was great. Highly encourage a Fall trip to enjoy the colors/foliage. The kayaks and rowboat are a nice benefit to take full advantage of the lake vibes. Highly recommend.
