This great property was overshadowed by the lack of communication and management of the Vacasa management group.
Weeks prior to our trip, I sent a request asking if there was a pack n play or high chair. I received a response that there wasn’t. We drove 12+ hours with 11 people. As anyone knows, every inch of cargo space is precious when you’re driving to a vacation destination- we wasted that packing space and left stuff behind bc this property does include both.
After driving for so long, we arrived to find out that the keypad code that we were given to enter the property was incorrect. We called every single phone number we could find, including the “local phone number” and they all sent us to the same call queue. We were on hold for an unacceptable amount of time standing outside in the July heat getting eaten up by mosquitos. It took us a half hour to get into the home. I requested to speak with a manager and was told I would get a call back.
The home had termites in every corner and all over the front door. When we took out the trash, the bag was covered in termites.
There are two full baths and the one bath that three rooms share had a sink that kept getting backed up.
The next day after check in I got a scheduled courtesy call asking if we had any issues with our check in. I again let them know of all of these issues and asked to speak with a manager. Again, I was told that I would get a call back from someone higher in management.
I have yet to get a call
