“Great communication with the owner. House was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you”

“My family and I had a great time during our stay. The house is modern and spacious. The highlights were the back porch with a beautiful lake view and the kayaks available to use. All in all, a great house in a scenic, peaceful location. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a lake getaway!”

“Excellent place to stay the night before Sand Valley”

“Great place to stay for our group of 8 playing golf in the area. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds and great games to unwind after the rounds.”

“If playing Sand Valley with a large group, this is your place. Right down the road from the resort. Tons of beds, bathrooms, and space for everyone. Big deck just off the kitchen and huge game room in the garage.”

“We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Gambrel House property. It couldn't have been a better experience. The house itself was clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The back yard was the perfect size for the tents and everything else. Connor, the property owner, is a wonderful person and very attentive to any needs. He actually reached out and offered to cut the grass the day before our wedding (it had been raining a lot prior) and had it done within a...

“This is a cute little place out in the country. Communication with the hostess was good.”

“Smooth check-in, great location, clean, and easy to use outdoor amenities.”

“The whole process from rental to leaving was simple. Loved the two docks available to fish from (front and rear of the cottage). Husband loved that there was kayaks , canoe l, and row boat available to get out on the lake. Home was very inviting and home like. Would definitely stay again!”

“We loved everything about this place.”

“We had a couple of golf days in the area and very nice. Every room super clean and such a neat property. Great job on remodel of an old church! We will definitely book again. Craig was awesome to work with!!!”

“Between the price and the location, it was perfect! The host was great. My family loved the house and the location. I recommend this property and would stay again!”

“This is a great find. Easy to get to, great for a stay in vacation, but close enough to the Dells you can run in easy. Host was very receptive to questions and immediately attended to an issue with the grill so we could cook our dinner! Thanks hosts!”

“Exactly as described. Check in and checkout were easy. Quick responses from host. Area is a neat area for swimming and playing in the sand with both local things to do and Wisconsin Dells close by. We enjoyed our stay!”

“It's a nice neighborhood around an artificial lake. Kids will love it.”

“Clean upon arrival. Chris was very responsive to any needs or questions. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!”

“Our family of 15 choose a different location for a trip each summer and this property was the winner this year. We comfortably fit in the house and had a great time. The beach was clean and perfect for our ages of kids. There were hundreds of little baby fish ( several that bit haha) but nothing big so if you’re wanting to go fishing, check out area beaches. The host provided pretty much everything you could need- soaps and shampoos, towels, laundry soap, crockpots, pack n play, etc. I’d...

“Fantastic property. Everything as advertised. Easy to work with and great communication incoming and outgoing. We had 11 total so there was plenty of space. 5 of the 11 were 12 year old boys so the downstairs area and game room in garage were perfect! We will definitely be booking again!”

“We loved our stay for our annual family vacation! There are a lot of us and we had plenty of room. The 3rd bathroom was so nice to have! Bring an air mattress for the basement, it's a great space and would be a perfect cool dark sleeping area. There is plenty of seating and parking. Being able to bring the dogs was a huge help. The county park is close for a great day on the beach. Tubing is just down the street and a ton of fun. Highly recommend The Garage Bar!”
