A great weekend stay with our guests and family as well as the dogs! The only thing I could find to complain about was that the balcony area was piled with leaves when we arrived but other than that it wasn't much of a bother. The kids had fun throwing the leaves back into the woods. It was spacious and our host was very communicative. Would come to stay again!

We did not use the hot tub, but we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. The appliances were great, good condition pots, pans, well-stocked dinnerware. The dishwasher was much appreciated. We used the propane grill out on the deck, and it was clean and plenty of propane.

Excellent property, beautiful location!!!!

The property is gorgeous! The amenities are truly wonderful. Everything was clean and in working order. Everything you could want is supplied. It was an amazing girls group weekend and everyone was so impressed with the accommodations. Thank you for making me look like a star as the organizer.

mountain springtime getaway with family and grandkids

Great location and the property delivers on its promise. We enjoyed being on the third floor while kids and grandkids were able to spread out comfortably on the 1st floor. The main living & kitchen area on the 2nd floor was spacious and the balcony overlooking the mountain was perfect. The nearby hiking trails were great and we enjoyed the brewery and ice cream scene in Nellys Ford.

Beautiful Property - Exactly as Photographed

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed using the pizza oven, hot tub, and fireplace. The space was clean and bright. Would love to come back in Fall or Winter!

Relaxing stay in a modern house among the trees

The property is as wonderful as it looks in the photos. Very close to a beautiful waterfall trail. Definitely would stay here again in a different season to take it all in again.

Loved our stay

My husband and I lived at Wintergreen many years ago, so decided to take our children up for a few days to celebrate my birthday. It was an absolute blast. We loved everything about the house. Very well equipped and perfect set-up for our family. We will be back!

Ski house with a beautiful view

I enjoyed my stay. When we arrived, I was glad to find the driveway(semi-steep decline) free from ice and snow. The walk way to the front door had ample ice melt. The house was beautiful and very open on the main floor. We didn’t have a maximum capacity, but in the event, there would have been plenty of room for entertainment. A Large living room, plenty of sitting at the dining room table and a large well equipped kitchen would have no problem handling 12 people. The bedrooms (roomy) were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to find space heaters in every room. I used one in my room and it took the nip out of the air. The showers! Very nice. As were the bathrooms. The use of the hot tub on the 20 something degree night was most welcomed. I own a hot tub and I appreciated its cleanliness. The chemicals were harsh. Even though I brought my spices for food, the owners and previous visitors provided a well stocked spice cabinet. There was plenty of toilet paper…. Nice for a change. Shampoo and soap were provided if you forgot yours. I thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the couch and looking at that beautiful view of the trees and multiple mountain peaks. The location was very close to Wintergreen resort…. Only a few turns.The messaging and correspondence with the owners left me feeling relaxed about my visit. I would stay here again.

Great location and setup

The house had all the amenities we needed for cooking a Christmas dinner and managing two kids (3 and under), including baby gates, a high chair, and a pack-n-play. Great location on the outskirts of the Wintergreen resort (a short drive) and a short walk from some hikes. It's perched on a hill, so the views from the main living area/kitchen are of the tree tops.

Wintergreen Escape

Somehow we selected the perfect midweek stay. The weather was amazing and the leaves were at peak color. This beautiful home is a bit removed but that provided privacy and dark skies at night. We absolutely took advantage of all 3 levels of outside decks. The kitchen was well stocked for creating special birthday meals. We had plenty of together spaces as well as private retreats. Beds were comfy memory foam and bedrooms equipped with room darkening drapery. The driveway is a bit steep but the parking pad leads directly to the front door and kitchen making unloading simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Wine Vacation

6 of us gathered to enjoy the many wine and beer locations in the surrounding area. The location was perfect, the views were simply breathtaking, and it was beyond comfortable. We are planning our next get away to this same location- I would recommend this location to all my family and friends- First Rate!

Awesome home tucked among the trees.

Newly renovated and appointments were top notch. Kitchen was extremely well outfitted . Plenty of room, with an open loft/work area. WIFI accommodated three of us working online. Very cozy to sit around fireplace inside or at fire table on the deck. Large grill available. Four king size beds new and very comfortable. Home owners were very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
